that would have been me! LoL We are neighbors...well, sort of! *hehe*

Ok, I drive a 1996 Nissan Sentra and the hub-dood drives a 1994 Ford Ranger. I used to have a 1990 Mazda Protege (purchased in 1989) and got rid of it for no apparent good reason in 1998! The car was still good...I used to kick myself from time to time when I would be making out the check to pay the car payment! ANYWAY...thats another story! LoL

Ok, what did I LEARN to drive in? My Dad's IMMACULATE 1978 Pontiac Grand Prix, which was given to me soon thereafter...being a teenager, I of course trashed the poor thing! *haha*

I drive a Windstar, need the room for all my grandkids [IMG] and to have a vehicle that my mother can get in and out of easily. It's comfortable for driving to work, too. My husband drives an Expedition, you know, one of those gas-guzzling monsters. But he gets about the same gas mileage as I do.

I remember those days of working just to pay car insurance. :( Hey, after 5 years it does get cheaper(with no wrecks or tickets ;) )Also you might want to stick with used cars so you don't have to have collision and comprehension insurance.

We live East of town and she works NW up I-75. Our church is in Midtown (kinda at the halfway point ;) ).

    Barb Alkire,

    It is Saggy, not Shaggy.

    S-A-G-G-Y

Yes, I do have hair, but hardly am considered shaggy (or saggy, for that matter.. . . ) :D

My wife Amy drives a 95 Pontiac Grand Prix that has 120,000 miles on it.

I drive a 94 Dogdge Shadow that has 160,000 miles on it. It also has one of those gold stickers - A Jesus fish that is eating the Darwin fish with legs on it. Hehehehehe :D

Now if we hear a noice on either car, or if the "check engine" light comes on we start praying! Ignoring these signs sometimes helps, but usually it means $$$.

My heart is what matters right? Well my heart sits behind the wheel of a fully restored mint 1971 Pontiac Trans-Am with a roaring 455 H.O under the hood! someday I think, someday. Maybe God will have one sitting in my driveway in heaven?

Shame on all of you! Dr. Bob said, "So tell me about yourself, your family, your spouse, etc . . ." and everyone wants to talk about their cars, and Dr. Bob, you started it!  :D Just kidding!

My wife's name is Rose and our children are Brent-17, Nate-13, and Brittany-11. My wife works for a State Farm Ins. agent. Our children attend our church run Christian school, Cresset Christian Academy. I'm happy to say they are taught creation science there! OK, I won't get started on that.

I am the Telecommunications Manager for Kodak and thoroughly enjoy my work. I work in an IT (computers) environment and have a fairly high-level knowledge of computers and networks as well. I've built all three computers in our home from the ground up, and have them networked together for file, printer, and Internet sharing.

I spent 20 years in the U.S. Air Force and spent 6 1/2 years in Germany. I've been to South Korea, Egypt, and Okinawa, as well as all over Western Europe.

My wife and I have been married 6 1/2 years, both victims of unfaithful prior spouses. Our oldest son is mine, and the other two are hers, but together we are one in the Lord.

Our oldest, Brent is Sr. class president at Cresset Christian Academy, a member of the National Beta Club, Youth Group Leader, and most importantly, on fire for the Lord. Nate's in band and loves computers like me. Brittany is in the process of becoming a young lady (momma don't like it) and in the beginnings of maturing in her profession of faith.

Cars? Yes my wife, son, and I each have one!

"But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD." (Joshua 24:15b KJV!)

My 87 Civic's fan belt broke, and since I'm mechanically challenged, and financially broke, my "car" will have to be the Q27 Bus, Q41, Q25, or the "E" train (subway) :( (anyone feel impressed to send lots of moola????) no, I'm not Oral Roberts! :D

Ha, two cars, the one I drive is very, very old and you have to sweet talk it in the mornings. It also has a fifteen minute limit before you just can't expect much more. It just starts shaking, grumbling, squeaking, etc.. You just kind of end up coasting into the nearest parking spot and sighing. Let it rest a while and go back home. The funnest part is you can't go over 45 or you automatically stall.
The other is my baby, it's a Camry, it's pretty, and it does what I tell it to, when I tell it too. What a concept! We work well together. [IMG]
