First, get your facts straight. Overturning "Roe v. Wade" will not stop abortions. It will only allow the states to decide for themselves as to whether or not abortion will be allowed in their jurisdiction.

If stopping abortion is the goal, there should be a Constitutional amendment on the rights of the unborn as human beings. However, since there is probably not enough people in the U.S. who would support this it is not likely to ever happen.

So, the real issue is that many right-wing republican Christians are simply being used by the republican party.

A womans choice? Ask someone that has willingly aborted a baby. They have a sadness deep inside that won't be sated this side of Heaven. We know many of these poor women, and the hurt keeps many from the Savior. Many of course come to Christ, with broken hearts, and scars that won't heal.

Will you also let the woman next door decide the right thing to do about her 6 month old?

Amen, Dagwood. Many conservative Christians have forgotten Jesus' command to render unto God the things that are God's and to render unto Ceasar the things that are Caesar's.

There is no dual secular-Christian life to live. Either you are a Christian 100% 24 hours a day or you arre not at all. Making room to live a secular life making secular decisions is hypocritical.

Thats not it at all. Those poor people who had to make a decision to jump from the 80th floor of the world trade center or burn alive are still fresh in my mind if not in yours. The Islamo-fascist threat is what will drive my vote in 2008 and I feel Rudy is the only man who understands this thoroughly. The Democrats think that if we pull out of Iraq and capitulate and appease they will start to like us. Believe me, they are not through with us.

Our courageous military personnel removed Saddam Hussein from power and gave the Iraqi people a representative form of government on a silver platter paid for with their blood and American treasure. That is victory, not capitulation.

I think it is shameful that anyone refuses to recognize what our brave troops have accomplished and refers to it as capitulation.
