I have no intention of this, I believe your guard is a bit high.
You are entitled to you beliefs, there have been intelligent arguments on many sides of this issue.
Satan indeed can use anything to turn our eyes away from our Savior.
Not all who lean toward GW are evolutionists. Not all scientists are godless athiests.
Science in the right light is the deeper study of creation.

I agree. And we see how the line splits, right here, with the more conservative, willing to fight bad doctrine, and personal responsibility advocates coming down on the "trust God" side, and the more liberal, evolution & scripture are compatible, government should do more to help side coming down on the "we gotta do something to take care of the earth" side.

I believe in good stewardship, and practice it, as well. What I don't buy is we can stop a natural warming, or cooling trend, by lifestyle changes.

Yeah, my guard is always up with new posters. If you stick around, I'll grow more comfortable around you. Most likely.

I understand (the new posters thing)
It is hard to have a conversation about this here.
My guard can get high too. Sometimes when someone is in disagreement it is very easy to attach a tone of voice to statements the other has posted.

The scientific research from either side is easily available.
There are non political arguments supporting global warming and there are reputable scientists who disagree strongly with global warming who are not funded by Exxon and the republican party.

The problem is there is nothing to base current co2 levels on, so any scientific study will only be guesswork. Most scientific studies try to undermine God, as we see this with the global warmingists (it is a religion in itself).

Monk, do you think it's a good idea to form treaties with other countries, and form tax bases on a theory that has so much dissent ?

I believe we could take steps to clean up our manufacturing plants, autos, mines etc.

Globally we need to be cautious. I believe the political side of this issue could use a bit of cooling.
It is a very emotional issue with dirty dealings on each side.
I do believe in tax cuts for those who purchase more efficient equipment (whatever it may be) because it will put less strain on our resources. We can all benefit from this whether it be from cleaner air and water or cheaper utility costs.

I should get to know people better before jumping into such weighty issues.
I look forward to discussing things in the future.

I second that  Morpheus was one cool dude.

That shooting scene in the lobby in the first movie is what I use to test my surround sound system (and jurassic park's T-rex scene in the rain...oh, and now the transformers fight scene at the end in the battle of the Allspark). All of those bullets and shells clinging brings out all of the sound in any surround system.

Mine too, there is very good book called the Gospel Reloaded that is worth reading.
It is an in depth Theological/Philosophical look at the films.
