    I'm with ya on that!

I imagine George P. is already in San Antonio visiting the Alamo and taking in the sights.

    Go Tech.

Wow only UConn between Tech and victory.

I would have never believed it. I did however turn in a bracket at ESPN.com with Tech over Uconn in the final.

You don't think that qualifies as gambling do you?

As a Tech alum I have waited a long time for this.

Since my picks for the finals are eliminated and neither team remaining is one of my "favorites", I will probably cheer for Georgia Tech to pull off the upset. I don't think they have ever won a men's basketball championship and UConn has recently, so GO TECH!!

As far as I can remember Rod we had a final four appearance back in 85 or 86 but never made it to a championship game.

I'm in second place, and the guy in front of me picked Georgia Tech to win (as I did) and the closest Connecticut picker behind me won't pass me up, so I don't really care who wins. I might cheer for Georia Tech because they seem to be the underdog, have never won it, are an ACC team (and I am an ACC kind of guy) and are a Institute of Technology school (as was I), but on the other hand, in my own family tournament, if Geogia Tech wins then the same guy wins both the point title and the national title title and that just looks bad on my planning skills (since I set it up). I AM TORN BETWEEN THE TWO!

I am sitting in an office cubicle next to a Georgia Tech alum. So what choice do I have?

    Rambling Wrek notes ...

Grandpa - My guess is that George P. will be the sixth man there tonight.

NC Tent - Like you, I've waited a long time. No, this isn't gambling - I'm sure that there are a lot of brackets over at the BSU (where they had great lunches.)

Rod - This is the first time in the finals. Hopefully, not the last.

Pete - Go with your heart and cheer on the Yellow Jackets! Who wants UConn to win both the men's and the women's championship?

    Debby - If he's a GT alum, I'm sure he's a great guy.

    Prediction - Tech by 3.1415927

    LET'S GO JACKETS!

    Friend of Spurgeon:

Yea I remember those lunches at the BSU. I wonder if they still do that?

Sad to end such a reat season with a loss, but what can I say, we were beat.

Congrats to UConn. Sad to see Tech go into the game so tight and lose all of their composure. We couldn't even hit our free throws. Still, it was an amazing year, with a bright future ahead for GT basketball (if only the football team would reappear - absent since 1990).

I guess the only benefit is that I still won the "pool" - I guess it was predestined (oops, wrong forum).
