No matter which manuscript you like to use. No matter which text you consider to be the Word of God, isn´t it interesting how God preserved some of the "main" texts???

The Codex Vaticanus was "protected" by the Catholic Church. The Codex Sinaiticus was found in a waste basket. Their origin was pagan Alexandria.
And even the Textus Receptus was put together by a Catholic humanist.

Luther, who gave Germany the first "real" Bible translation (which is not a German KJV... it is sometimes completely different! ...had to throw that in [IMG] ), hated the Jews, God´s chosen people, with all of his heart and killed every one who really wanted to believe God´s Word instead of Luthers own teaching (called the "Lutheran Inquisition"). But God used him to let the light of the glorious Gospel of our Savior shine again. God used his translation to bring revival to Germany. His co-worker and friend, Philipp Melanchton, was a humanist all of his live who was heavily involved in astrology. Later he even followed Luther as the leader of the Reformation.

King James, who authorized the KJV, burned Baptists, too. Some say that he even was a homosexual!?!

I am not perfect. But those people... were living a life of sin! But God used them to spread His Word!?!

Through the ages, good, bad and ugly men have tried to destroy or limit God's Word. They are like hammers trying to wear out the anvil by beating on it.

Hammers fail; the anvil stands. [IMG]

No, he was not homosexual because after he died, some declared falsely that he was.

Not one person, several people. It would was considered the height of rudeness to discuss those things in public while a person was alive. But after his death, several people attested to having seen him in "compromising" situations.
