God never wakes in the morning thinking he is you.

Bad humor bad theology!... According to Psalms he doesn't need to wake up in the morning... Brother Glen

Psalms 121:4 Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.

Well we all know that. But point is still accurate. There are people who seem to think they are God. But God never thinks of self as human and especially a particular human.

Many today love cute stories and thoughts about 'God', and find them entertaining and worthy of posting. Fewer still remain who love sound doctrine, and take the time to post something Biblically sound.

2 Timothy 4 came to mind when reading the OP. It is fitting.

Oh, was it just an illusion that he was Yeshua in Nazareth?

It all reminds me of a story from R C Sproul, in that he talked to a man about his god. R C Sproul asked him to tell him more about his god, so he did. Sproul then asked if his god ever rebuked him, or if he and his god simply agreed on everything and believed all things the same.

Anyhow, you can guess who this man's god really was in the end...
