God of the Bible vs. Man's god

    It amazes me to hear how the world uses the term God. What is more amazing is how the hundreds of christian denominations recognize who God is. It seems pretty clear to me the bible defines God as the Father. See 1Corinthians 1:3, 1Cor. 8:6, 2Cor. 1:2, Gal. 1:3, Eph. 1:2, Phil. 1:2, Col. 1:2, 1Thess. 1:1, 2Thess. 1:1-2, 1Tim. 1:2, 2Tim. 1:2, Titus 1:4, Philemon 3, 1Pet. 1:2-3, 2John 3, Jude 1. How do these scriptural references of God match up with man's belief of who God is? I may be overlooking something here but I'm trying to allow the scriptures to speak for themselves. Any feedback would be appreciated.
