Did you go on a mission trip this summer? What is the low down on it?

Hi SaggyWoman! Our church sent a group of 23 students and 7 adults to Middlesbrough, England this summer. The reports from the group are awesome! They had over 50 professions of faith they could identify while there! They were able to speak in schools, churches and evening youth activities.

One of the things that made an impression on our group was being able to openly share the gospel in schools. They certainly can't do that here!

One of our girls said one of the kids from there just flat out asked her in front of the class, "So what's so great about being a Christian" and she was able to share with him...right in a school classroom!

Our pastor got to preach at an Anglican church the Sunday they were there. He was warmly received even though some couldn't understand his accent! (But our group couldn't understand a lot of what THEY had to say either, so guess it evened out!)

It was a great trip for them and a wonderful opportunity to share Jesus with others.
