So, we're teeing off on #16 and Tom, as usual, hammers one right down the middle. But he sees a Golden Retriever running down the middle of the fairway. Tom yells out,

"TWENTY-EIGHT!"

Twenty-eight?

"That's 'FORE!'", Tom explains, "in dog years."

Me and my buddies took a Friday afternoon off to play golf. First tee, Maynard comes over the top and pulls a low screamer that ricochets off the ball-washer post and nails Mike, who thought he was safe standing behind the tee box. Question: Is the proper etiquette to yell "AFT!" instead of "FORE!" in this situation?
