Boehner seems to be under the thumb of the US Chamber of Commerce. The US Chamber of Commerce and the GOP establishment want cheap labor and they want Jeb Bush for President. Boehner seems to be doing what it takes to pave the way for Jeb Bush.

This is about as much a joke as Boehner is. They won't do it. He's firmly entrenched in the "network".

It's crazy because he lacks any leadership whatsoever. He's reactionary and never seems to have any new or fresh ideas, but rather just echoes what others have started that seems to catch fire.

    Boehner is a cryptic Democrat.

I don't know about that. But he certainly isn't a leader. He really lacks the charisma to be in the position that he's in.

He's a born follower and it's depressing to watch him pretend to be a leader. He's like the 2014 version of Bob Dole that the GOP would put forth as the 2016 Presidential nominee just because he's served his time in the party.
