Loads of things to do in Florida. Here are a few: Mickey/Universal/Sea World in Orlando, fishing & diving in the Keys, beautiful beaches throughout the state - especially in south Florida, southwest Florida and the Panhandle, the Everglades, and great nightlife on SoBe. You may want to visit www.visitflorida.com for more information.

This is high season for most of the state -- when it is cold for most of the country, so expect to pay a bit more until March or April. Then, the prices go down but our humidity goes up.

Johnv -- I forgot about that. You're right -- there's a lot to do there -- 40+ square miles, four theme parks and two water parks, numerous golf courses (including three putt putt courses), great restuarants, 20+ hotels, and even a full time Cirque.

Where did you stay? What were your favorites? Did you ride Mission Space and Rockin' Roller Coaster (my son's favorites)??

We just got back from their Candlelight Processional. They have a great program every Christmas season -- with a 400 voice choir, a 50 piece orchestra and a guest narrator reading the Christmas story from the Book of Luke. Last year we heard (and met Stephen Curtis Chapman). This year we heard Jim Caviezel, who was amazing! I would recommend this if anyone wants to go to Disney next year. It starts right after Thanksgiving and goes through the end of the year.

We like to stay in a small inn on the beach; play on the beach and in the water. We usually stay on the Gulf side. There the sunsets are beautiful.

The Everglades are awesome. Of course the beaches are great too. It just depends on what you like to do.

I enjoyed the Kennedy Space Center. We went to that before we left on a cruise.

So much to do...so little time! I have been to Disney a couple of times and it was wonderful. I have also been to the Wet N Wild theme park that has a great Lazy River althought I did get burned to a crisp while there. I have also been to King Henry's Feast which is a blast.

My fave place to go is Amelia Island. It has always been our family vacation spot. A house right on the beach and the sunrises are gorgeous! You can see the shrimping boats and at times you can spot the dolphins. Oh I love it!

We love Destin! The beach is soooo clean and the water so clear. We have a friend who lets us use his house on the beach and it's wonderful.

    We love Disney, too!
