Gov Cuomo says America was never great

Didn't take him long to start crawfishing.

But now others on the left are saying the same.

Shades of Michelle Obama.

 

America was great in WWII, in Korea, in the 1960s with Civil Rights, in the 1980s with Reagan standing up to the Soviets, etc

 

So what, then, is Cuomo? A liar or a fool?

England was great many times. The greatest English writer has to be Shakespeare. But there is the English Reformation and both Queen Elizabeth I and Queen Elizabeth II and Wellington and Churchill and Wesley and Bunyan and Matthew Henry and Wilberforce and so many others.

 

1776, yes. But I think you'll find Matthew Henry was Welsh, not English

 

Which only makes me like Brother Henry even more, as my maternal grandfather was born in Wales, and as a man who sings in choir, I could hardly have a better example than Welsh mens' choruses.

Yes. A militarily weak nation that depends on living in the shadow of the militarily powerful USA for it's own national defense, so that they can spend more of their money on their nanny state.

Well, the whole country is just a big block of ice, doesn't have the resources of the US (great) or Mexico (never great so far). But that country did make the mistake New York state did, elected, got a hereditary leader that can't measure up to the old man

 

Of course. Whenever their troops have been involved, they have performed admirably. But as a nation, they spend almost nothing on national defense. The obvious reason is that we are their next door neighbor.

 

They can do more than they are doing. And Trump has shamed them into doing so...if they keep their word. No sure thing at all.
