No, but you are. You're still locked into the "global warming is not a conservative position, so I'm not going to believe it's happening!" mantra.
As you know, if you've been paying attention, I don't support the Kyoto Protocols, for a number of reasons. But I'm not dumb enough to deny global warming just because I don't like what some people want to do about it.

A year ago, I would have agreed with you. The evidence has mounted since then, and it's not something you can hand wave away.

(Larry gets angry loses his sense of integrity)
You're frustrated and upset, so I forgive you for your false accusations. Be honest with yourself. You have no way of assessing what is correct in this issue, do you?

Yep. In the long run, New Orleans is doomed. Not just from rising levels. The Atchafalaya River is now in the process of "delta switching." Already, the Atchafalaya delta is the only one growing at this point. When the Mississippi finally breaks through (and it's a matter of time) to make that the main channel, the land on which NO is built will begin to disappear.

    Is that paper a joke?

The main reason Venus is hotter than Earth is that Venus is so much closer to the sun.

Check out his other articles (linkie to index & abstracts) The guy is pretty funny.

    And
    And my favorite
I just don't think I'd use him as a serious source.

The ones who are experts in the field in question as demonstrated by their published papers in peer-reviewed science journals (of the field).

IOW, in the newspapers and popular magazines, the debate rages; not so much in the science journals.
