    "America’s employers added a robust 517,000 jobs in January, a surprisingly strong gain in the face of the Federal Reserve’s aggressive drive to slow growth and tame inflation with higher interest rates.

    U-6 rate was 6.6%. In January 2022 it was 7.1%.

    The headline number was 3.4% and in January 2022 it was 4.0%

    So the real unemployment is almost double.....

    Sounds like it has always been several percentage points higher. Depends on how it is measured,
