I have Greek fonts installed on my computer. I can view Greek fonts, but how do I type or copy and paste Greek fonts? Evry time I try to copy and paste Greek fonts, they just come out like regular fonts...
    Help!!!

Press Ctrl & Shift at the same time. That will change your language keys. Now the trick is to find out which letter in the English alphabet matches up with their Greek counterpart. I had similar problems with the Hungarian language, but now it is like second nature when I type. [IMG]

Hold it! I have to look up my shorthand notes on this subject, and I'll be back to you in a jiffy. ;) Obviously you did not instruct the computer to accept the language. You have it stored but can not recall. I'll be back! [IMG]

I figured it out after you said that I didn't activate it. Thanks.

    Do the following:
    1. Click on Start, Setting, Control Panel
    2. Language (Tab) Add
    3. Greek
    5. Ctrl + Shift
    6. Enable indicator on Taskbar (checked)
    7. On lower left you will see either EN (English) or GR (Greek) indicated. By pressing down Ctrl + Shift will change the setting. Godd luck! [IMG]

Oh boy! While I was looking at my notes and typed the answer you solved the problem. Well ok, so what's the next question? :D

Wellllll, as long as you are asking for questions....

How come your 'edit' and 'instant graemlins' don't work for me???

It's 'cause I'm blond, right? I knew it. Discrimination!

    Maybe because I am youth-challenged?

Maybe because I am just challenged?

Bringing this to the top, hoping for an answer....

Then the important stuff can come back to the top, which is what really belongs here, I know...

Helen, I do not know what you refer to in edit and instant graemlins. But if and when you are starting a post, your first line above your text is the Displayed Name, then the Message Icon. If you'd like to use the message icons all you have to do is click on the small circle before the icons (smilies). Then within the text, if you would like to use a smilie go to the bottom of the window and click on one of the Instant Graemlins.

You can repeat the instant graemlins (we have 11 types) as many time as you like (not exceeding 7 or 8). Hope you'll find this helpful. [IMG] ;)  [IMG] :D

That's what I mean by the graemlins -- they refuse to get into my text. And sometimes when I goof on spelling or something in a post and try to go back and edit it, the edit button (after I have corrected what I want to correct) tells me it cannot locate the URL! So I toddle along jealous of everyone else...grin. See? I have to SAY 'grin'. I can do the icons above the window that indicate what sort of post it is, but I can't get the ones to appear IN my text from the bottom list.

    Must be this computer???

Helen, how about if you do it manually? It should work! Use the following list (except for the sake of not forming a smilie on the first line, I am spreading the symbols apart as follows (but you type them together):

    : ) [IMG] smile
    : ( :( frown
    : o [IMG] embarrassment
    : D :D big grin
    ; ) ;) wink
    : eek :  eek!
: p [IMG] stick out tongue
    : cool :  cool
