Alyssa Milano accuses Russia of meddling in Ohio special congressional election

"Actress and outspoken activist Alyssa Milano sounded off on Twitter about the Ohio special congressional election and even went as far as to speculate on “Russian meddling” in the race.

As the Republican candidate, Troy Balderson, appeared to take a slim victory over the Democratic challenger, Danny O’Connor, in the state’s 12th district, Milano jumped on Twitter to accuse the Russians and lament the possible outpouring of support for a third-party candidate.

“You know what sucks? Because of our unwillingness to pass policy that protects our election integrity, I immediately think the Green Party votes tonight are Russian Meddling,” she said. Why else would anyone cast a protest vote in Ohio when there’s so much at stake'?”

Yes my friends, the loony left sees a Russian being every vote that isn't a demoncratic vote.

    LOL!! :D

This is out there. however, there is cause to protect the voting process and the results. After a narrow victory by the GOP in the Special Election in Atlanta's 6th district, a lawsuit was filing claiming the election had been stolen.

    ATLANTA (CBS46) -
A Colorado-based watchdog group along with six Georgia voters have filed a lawsuit in Fulton County Superior Court, claiming the state's election system was compromised and left unprotected from intruders for months.
As a result, the plaintiffs say the results of the District 6 congressional special election runoff should be tossed out, and there should be a new runoff election.
The lawsuit was filed a week after Republican Karen Handel was sworn in as Georgia’s newest member of Congress, having defeated Democrat Jon Ossoff in the 6th District special election runoff, becoming the first Republican woman to ever serve in that capacity.
Surprising to some, the seven plaintiffs in the lawsuit are not all Democrats. Coalition for Good Governance is led by Marilyn Marks, a Republican. Plaintiff Ricardo Davis is state chairman of the conservative Constitution Party of Georgia. They and the other plaintiffs claim state and local elections officials ignored warnings for months that Georgia’s election system had been compromised and left unprotected from intruders.

Four days after the suit was filed, the vote count was erased from GOP controlled servers.

Georgia election server had crucial files deleted days after lawsuit

On July 3, a lawsuit was filed in Georgia by a group of election reform advocates who wanted the state to reform its ancient voting technology.
Four days later, a server crucial to the lawsuit was wiped clean.
The data was erased by technicians at the Center for Elections Systems at Kennesaw State University, which runs the state's election system. According to the Associated Press, it's not clear who ordered the wipe.

Election fraud, you say? Eliminate early voting. curtail absentee voting and go with Voter ID, that would help.

Election fraud on the part of the Republican controlling local government. Understand? Once again, the vote totals on a computer administered and controlled by the GOP were ERASED AFTER they were SUBPOENAED by a court. I still don't know and it's hard to find out what the disposition of this trial was.

Thanks carp - it all seems rather fishy to me, but then I've been voting Green for years, until Jeremy Corbyn became leader & I switched to the Labour Party. But Jeremy is green in policy.

I understand the difference between capitalism & socialism, but I've never understood the main US parties

Are Republicans not democratic? And are Democrats not in a republic?

You'll have to ask a democrat. They are the ones that don't seem to understand that the U.S is a republic, not a democracy.

Yes, we are a republic, when Ben Franklin was asked what kind of government he helped create, he answered: "a republic, if you can keep it".

About Georgia, there was a backup:

Days after activists sued, Georgia’s election server was wiped clean.

agree there's a big issue with voter integrity down there, I mean, how do you get a 247 percent turnout?:

Frozen machines, 243-percent turnout, and other woes in Georgia voting

it was not an urban district, this tells me there are mucho problems in the voter registration process and any IT person knows electronic voting machines can be hacked in theory at least - ought to go to paper ballots for a safeguard.

The 6th District is in the northern part of the Atlanta metropolitan area. It would be considered suburban but certainly not rural.

Once again, this has nothing to do with politics. It has to do with having representatives to vote on issues rather than having all citizens to vote on them directly

Trump, Trump, Trump, Russia, Russia, Russia. 24/7 - No wonder His popularity continues to grow.

The president has become a kind of 21st century Robin Hood of whom the Sheriff of Nottingham (Mueller) is powerless to "bring to justice".
