What do you play? What is your dream guitar?

Right now I play a Ibanez acoustic/electric and a Epiphone Les Paul Special II electric. Nothing great, but enjoyable.

My dream guitar would probably be any Martin.

A Fender bass guitar, the same I've played since I was 9. I like it to the point of not dreaming about any other. ;)

I have a Martin DC16GTR, for my finger pickin, a Dana Bourgeois Ricky Skaggs dreadnaught for my bluegrass bands, a 1949 Gibson A-50 mandolin, a Tacoma M-1 electric mandolin, a Kay stand-up bass fiddle that I don't know much about, but I love to play it, a newer Gibson Mastertone banjo, and an old tenor banjo that I know next to nothing about, but it sounds really old-timey.

The Lord has provided me with enough fine instruments, it would be wrong for me to dream about a vintage 1942 Martin D-18, so I don't, too much.

I play a Gold Tone Paul Beard Signature "Maple Deluxe" dobro with my bluegrass band. An awesome dobro.

I also have a "hotrodded" Regal dobro as a backup.

When I play the guitar my primary one is a Blueridge BR160. An absolutly magnificent guitar. Designed the way the pre-war Martins were. Forward shifted, shaved, parabolic bracing. Solid spruce top and solid rosewood back and sides. Very loud with a very open, woody tone.

(I used to own a Martin D28 and this guitar blew it out of the water)

    I also have...

Martin D-15S 12 fret slothead.(designed as the 1930's dreadnaughts were made)

    Washburn D44SW.(all solid wood)

    Alvarez-Yairi DY38

    Les Paul electric

    Telecaster electric

The guitar that Norman Blake played several years ago when I saw him in concert up in Indiana. It was about a 75 year old Martin 12 fret slothead dreadnaught.

Words utterly fail me in describing the tone of that guitar.

I have a re-issue 1957 strat from Japan, 1981 Les Paul Custom, late 70's Rickenbacher 4001 bass, Mid 80's Yamaha bass, and an acoustic/electric Alvarez.

Dream guitar??? early 70's syle strat, and a Gibson acoustic.
