Yep. It's also time I think to start labeling Joseph, Gershom, Pastor Larry, church mouse guy, for what they really are based on what they support: "Scoop" Jackson Democrats.

Some of them may not be politically knowledgeable enough to know who "Scoop" Jackson was. It will give them a chance to brush up on their Googling skills to find
    out. [IMG]

Amen. The Paleos have no place in conservatism anymore since they are so full of hate. I turn my back on them as well and hope the day will come when they are no more through the work of God in their lives to bring about repentance.

I never liked Scoop Jackson. My dad saw him in a parade somewhere--maybe Chicago--and took a picture of him. You should look at Republicans as team players. When the team is behind, one does not go play for the other team. I happen to like Bush. He may not be a good speaker, but he is a lot better speaker than I am. He did what he thought was right based on the information that he had and I support him for that. On domestic issues, he has been weak because his election was clouded by Gore in Florida and because he did not win a majority of the popular vote. It is doubtful that he could have had a veto sustained given the current culture dominated by liberals and liberal values such as Whoopi Goldberg and John Kerry represent.

The right wing is tedious and always has been. The John Birch Society used to call Ike a dupe. These people never did anything worthwhile in all their lives.

As for Switzerland, I am glad that I don't live there. They may be the richest people in the world per capita, but they are socially liberal do-nothings.

The neocons/neo-Jacobins have no place in conservatism(not they were ever truly conservatives) anymore since they are so antithetical to the founding principles of these United States. I turn my back on them and hope the day will come when they are no more as they learn that the blessings and liberties we enjoy in this country are from God and not from government largesse.

Furthermore, Racists have no place in Christianity. The Paleo racists have given a distorted view of Christianity, and it is time for all true Christians to turn their backs on them and separate from this evil movement.

And furthermore, those who unjustly smear others have no place in Christianity. The neocon character smearers have turned their backs on Christianity, and it is time for all true Christians to turn their backs on them and separate from this evil neocon/neo-Jacobin movement.

Hey, Joseph, you are posting from the second leading neocon magazine, National Review. The Weekly Standard is the leading neocon magazine.

Even though I am a subscriber to National Review it has no credibility with me when it tries to defend the neocons nor when it attacks we paleo-conservatives.

So if you want to score any points with me you'll have to find a credible source.

Also, unlike you, I actually read what those whom I disagree with are saying.

By the way, you've already posted a link to that article. Why are you taking up Baptist Board space by posting such lengthy excerpts from the smear piece?

I think the anti semitic quotes of Buchannan, Raimondos, Novack, and Samuel Francis speak for themselves. They have condemned themselves as racists. Don't blame the National Review for their racism. All the National Review did was honestly point it out.

Yes, I have been reading for a long time that neo-conservative is a slur for "Jew." I get called a neo-conservative by the Constitution Party even though I was a Republican before they were born. I remember Senator Bob Taft. Most of this talk and print is not worth the paper and ink that it occupies. Buchanan is washed up politically. He has to appear on public television to get a government check in order to make a living. People like Novak and Buckley may only be following the lead of the Pope who is anti-Israel and anti-war. If the Pope kisses Arafat one more time....

The National Review and you, Joseph, my liberal "Scoop" Jackson Democrat buddy, are lying about Mr. Buchanan, Mr. Raimondos, Mr. Novak, and Mr. Francis. You should be ashamed of yourself. I urge you to repent of your slander of these great Americans.

If you will notice, cmg, my liberal "Scoop" Jackson Democrat buddy, it is the neocons who make this alleged connection between being a neocon and a Jew, as they attempt to deflect criticism of their terrible policies. It is a tactic of liberals, which just further confirms the neocons' liberal pedigree.

Of course, this neocon tactic is easy to refute as all Jews are not neocons and all neocons are not Jews.

I could be wrong, but I think that Buckley actually dissociated himself from Sobran precisely because of his anti-semtism:

Joseph, I don't know about you, but I am getting tired of the right-wing. They seem to pass their lives in placing blame and calling names. They have nothing to contribute to the solution of problems. The Constitution Party attacks the problem of Islamofascism by saying that the war in Iraq is technically illegal and therefore should be ended as soon as possible. Is that a solution for anything?

And on the question of people starving in Africa and elsewhere and visible in our homes on our television screens and on the internet, the right wing says that it is technically illegal for the United States government, awash in surplus food, to give any aid to foreign countries.

Such right wing policies coupled with the right wing insistence on dominating all discussions makes me agree, Joseph, with those who say that the far left like Whoopi Goldberg and the far right closes the circle and hold hands.

The far right is anti-intellectual as is the far left.

The ADL has no credibility with me, Joseph on this subject. Can't you find a credible source for your unChristian slander campaign?

Oh, that's right, you can't. [IMG]
