WOW! I see so many threads over the months, and the greater majority are nothing to do with Biblical studies, but on the US elections!

Kick me if you like for saying this, but I see so much hate and resentment by some who cannot get over the fact that Trump has departed, and Biden is the new POTUS!

    Time to move on brethren...

remember Joseph, how his brothers tried to kill him, but God rescued him, and used that for His own good purposes!

How does all the discussion about political elections present the question, "Has theology died?" There is a sense in which we 'vote' on theological points, and we certainly argue about them, but they don't put anybody in office or change laws and policies that are enforced upon us. Politics does. So which is it more practical to talk about?

All of the Theological discussions inevitably end up in a Calvinist/Arminian debate. I'm more than happy to engage in one of those but the arguments are always the same.

Has Theology Died?... Well it has in all those other forums with the mudslinging and the backbiting and the unchristian attitude... That's why I don't go there and you shouldn't go there either... This is wise advise from an old timer and you know what they say SBG... If you can't stand the heat stay out of the kitchen... And being on here as long as I have, I know where to go and where not to... And if we disagree with one another use some Christian civility, another thing that seems to be lacking on here... And when you just get fed up with the one you are talking to and they don't talk to you, they talk down to you, there is always the ignore button... Stick around, you've only been here, what?... a little over 4 months!... You are planning on staying... Right?... Brother Glen:)

OK, so let's revive THEOLOGY just for our sad brother in Christ, "SavedByGrace".

    Supralapsarianism or Infralapsarianism?

Did God choose His plan of salvation BEFORE He created people, thus knowing when he first began the work of forming Adam that God was creating both people to end up in heaven and people to spend eternity in hell (because the fall was part of the plan from the beginning)?

Did God create mankind first, and only chose his plan of salvation after the fall of Adam made it necessary?

    (Is that theological enough?)

Ok, for sake of argument, the Calvinist/Arminian debate is exclusively about Soteriology.

Ok, what primarily about the Calvinism debate is not about soteriology? Most people here that is what they are talking about.
