Attacks motivated by religious hatred have multiplied six-fold in London since the 7 July attacks, according to police statistics

"You filthy Muslim dogs. You will be torched this Friday. Many Muslim pigs will burn," the hand-scrawled note reads.

At a recently vandalised mosque in the east of Britain's capital, a shocked 65-year-old Siddique Ali handles one example of hate mail targeting British Muslims after the deadly bomb attacks on London's transport system on 7 July.

"We are afraid," said Ali, a member of the committee which runs the mosque.

"These people are giving us warnings. But if they came in front of us we could give a reply or try to understand, but they are not coming."

    Too bad for them.
Yet the fact remains that only they themselves can assuage their situation. They know who the radicals and terrorists are amongst themselves. It will be a simple thing to run these out of their mosques, or report these to the authorities of their host countries, but they would not, and they could not.

Islam is currently waging war on this world, especially western civilization. If, God forbid, they have their way they will make the whole world subject to their domination and rule.

Europe is full of these fanatics which pose eminent danger to their safety and civil welfare. I wouldn't blame the English, French or any other European nation for any measures they might take to suppress the Moslem terrorists in their countries; they have every thing to fear and every reason to believe these treacherous people intend to take over their countries.

I'm sure there are some nominally Moslem people in western lands who just want to live and let live and enjoy the material prosperity and peace which western civilization enjoys. It is sad that these people must share in the stigma of the Moslem agressors, but so is the way of life. "The way of the transgressor is hard."

It was quoted on FOX news yesterday that the Mayor of Paris stated they would not be forming militias to combat the Muslim terrorism currently taking place in that country. May God deliver that pitiful people from such passive attitudes toward Islamist thugs and murderers.

What France needs right now is another Charles Martel to rise up and hammer the Islamic rebels into the ground.

What England needs right now is another Winston Churchill who will vow to fight them in the fields and fight them in the streets and fight them on the beaches and never to surrender.

What American needs right now is a President who will take proactive measures to protect our borders from the encroachments of Islam and take the war to the land of the enemy. Thank God we have such a man in George W. Bush!

Terrorist cells have infiltrated many camps. They know how to fit into mult-faceted societies. This was demonstrated vividly by 9-11 in New York City. The terrorists even got some training in aerodynamics--in the U.S. of A. We even let them carry out most of their mission before we realized what had happened--too late.

The terror cells are still in the camp. Shall we shut down the mosques? That is playing into the hands of the terrorists--they use "psy war" to get support.

The answer is still: timely reporting of unusual activity and timely reaction of a properly trained strike force. Most dastardly deeds have suspicious behavior leading to their execution--the evidence of pre-meditation is usually available for those who are looking.

The followers of Mohammed are as splintered as those who claim to follow Jesus. This is not a clergy problem--more a sign of the times--"wars and rumors of wars..." "Many will come in my name, saying I am Christ..."

The real war is against God--it still rages--for the souls of men.

    Selah,

Since the inception of Islam the Muslims conquered lands by force. That is how it spread.

Muslim haters, like all xenophobes, are not man enough and do not have the language abilities to civilly and articulatly confront those who are different.

It is right and proper to rebut in respectful fashion a faith that denies Christ. It is wrong and improper to physically harm, threaten, or harrass in any way such a person or community of persons. Not only does it violate Christ's mandate of loving our neighbor as ourselves, it makes for an abundantly bad, disengenous, and noncredible Christian witness.

So where does the article say it was Christians who threatened to "physically harm, threaten, or harrass in any way such a person or community of persons?" Do you have info about it that the rest of us don't have? I saw nothing about it being Christians involved, just UK citizens who are fed up.

I made no comment about whether they were Christians or not.
