This it for me I'm out for the count.
See y'all on the other side of Christmas.

And may your Christmas be filled with thought of Christ.

    [IMG] Saint John

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his is government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.

    Isaiah 9:6-7

    Thanks, and give some advice?
This Christmas it's going to be me, the girls, their dad, and their uncle. The kids are too little, but dad and uncle aren't saved.
I want to be able to make the day what it should be, but don't know how to present it in a non-offensive manner or really what to do. If it was just me and my girls that would be different, no uncomfortableness or anything there of course, but this is different.

    You could:

Play Christmas carols for background music during the day & dinner. That way you get to hum them while you cook. Subliminal. :D

Place a small nativity scene as the centerpiece on your Christmas dinner table.

Ask Dad to read the Christmas story right before dinner starts. Would he?

Pray for wisdom for a better idea.

Or do nothing outstanding and ask the Lord to cause the subject to be brought up in normal conversation.

    But above all....pray! [IMG]

    Merry Christmas, Gina. [IMG]

Jon, Do you put the silver coin in the Christmas pudding?

    Happy Christmas to all.

Gina: I know a woman who patiently waited 42 years for her husband to come to the Lord. She did not preach to him, but quietly went about her life never answering his remarks along the way. Her son came to the Lord and went on to ministry.

When he finally came to the Lord, he said, He couldn't take it anymore. He tried everything to break her, but couldn't. He walked the aisle on a Sunday when I hadn't een given an invitation as such...I was as much surprised as anyone.

God bless you and give you that quiet resolve in prayer and in living witness to the Lord's mercy and love.

    Cheers,

    Jim
