There is no problem with fun, lighthearted discussion. The problem comes when we fight over stupid stuff.

NOOOOOOO! Don't get this board started on CATS!!!!!! The arguing might go on for years!

HoG, you don't know what you've started! Just the mere mention of cats is enough to start some of these folks!

My cat of course is perfect.

Oh cats. My cat is such a misbehaver. When we go to the store it makes some the most horrific sounds, scratches and claws and just basically spazes out. No matter what I do I just can't seem to get her to calm down. So then I stop and open the trunk and I say kitty you stop that right now! Do you think she listens? No. We start moving and she starts up all over again. Bad kitty.

See HoG, what you've started? I warned you, but no, you went right off the board leaving the great cat debate to go on without you!

Shovels and trunks indeed! Ya'll will remember that when a cat curls up next you on your death bed.

We should start a thread on evil cats that are companions to witches.

Great post!!! I agree completely. Reading back through this thread, I'm laughing out loud at the computer. Of course, MY cat (and dog) watching me laugh at it think the answer for ME to your question about having a mind to start with would be....well, NO.

The cat that resides in the house here is so stupid that it actually seems like she forgets what she is at times! She will suddenly have the blankest expression and turn and look at you like, "Who am I? Wow, what IS this--a tail??? Paws? Am I a cat....what IS a cat?" It's completely hysterical!

I'm the only one around on this board who's completely logical, sis.
Oh, by the way, noticing where you live, I'm glad you don't smoke.

I almost wish I had had Bitsy's shovel yesterday morning. The two outdoor cats here had a little "surprise" for me as I left for work yesterday. One of them had literally beheaded a rabbit and was munching away on its innards ON THE STEPS AT THE BACK DOOR where I have to walk to my car. YUCK and SCARY. The day before, one or both of them had killed (without maiming) some kind of huge field rat and laid it like a trophy at the foot of those same steps. Yesterday, both cats looked up at me as I was trying to run past them as if to say (read this in your best "scary-movie evil-witch voice")....."We've been trying to tell you we want different cat food....yesterday it was the little mouse....today it's the beheaded rabbit....you better keep your eyes on the dog tomorrow..."
I ran VERY quickly to my car...and my sister brought home their favorite cat food yesterday evening!

Nasty habit bro! When we first moved here, I was sooooo caught off guard at alllllll the places people smoked! In the grocery store shopping even.

    It's much better now.

How are your classes going, btw?
