We need to learn to compare scripture with scripture so that we can spiritually judge all things, and have an answer for every man because we have the mind of Christ. (Is 28:9-10, 1Cor 2:15-16, Phil 1:9, 1Pet 3:15, Col 4:6)

Once we believe in Jesus, we need to come to learn, by taking His light yoke (of repentant faith) so that we could be instructed and have rest (or understanding) for our soul. (Matt 11:29 cf. Jer 31:18-19) We are given the knowledge of the glory of God, by the mercy of God through His servants manifesting the truth by the scriptures. (2Cor 4:6,1-2) This is the form of teaching which causes us to become obedient from our hearts so that we would no longer serve sin. (Rom 6:17) Because ALL scripture is given unto us for our instruction in righteousness, so that we would be perfected to do good or merciful works. (2Tim 3:16-17) This is how we are prepared to go on to minister grace through the good communication which edifies those who hear. (Eph 4:29, Rom 15:2) These are the servants who labor among you (in the word) who are to be highly esteemed in love, because of this work. This is how we live in peace. (5:12-13)

Have you asked God to separate you from all the filthiness of this world so
that you could seek the LORD to be strengthened by Him, so that you could
    work for Him? (Ezra 6:21-22)

Jesus can separate us from our iniquities so that we would not die in them (and be judged, see Math 7:21) and defile the name of the Lord. (Lev 15:31) If God is separating you then you will be on your knees diligently asking the LORD (for the things that you need, see 2Pet 1:4-9 while pleading with Him to deliver you from those things that are offensive to Him, see 1Kgs 8:47-52) night and day so that you can go on to be His servant whom He maintains. (1Kgs 8:53-54&59) This is the prayer with the weeping confessions. (Ezra 10:1)Those who are into building for God have these prayers in their hearts. (1Chron 17:25)This is how the Lord perfects our hearts and causes us to walk in His statues and keep His commandments. God says that we are blessed when others hate us and separate themselves from us, for His namesake. (Lk 6:22) God first calls us, (through repentance) then separates us, (so that we can be instructed, see Jer 31:18-19) so that we can go and work for Him. (Acts 13:2)

Has the Lord caused you to forsake those who are foolish, so that you can have this understanding and live? (Prov 9:6) The foolish are those that hear the word of God and cannot do what it says because they have laid their foundation upon sand which will fall, but they haven’t laid their foundation upon repentance. (Math 7:26, Heb 6:1&3) These people are foolish because the instruction (they are under) is worthless. (Jer 10:8) These believers are deceived hearers who can’t do because they haven’t been taught HOW to put off their evil deeds in the truth. (Jm 1:22-21)This is why they are called foolish because they have no understanding or perception. (Jer5:21&4) These foolish people cannot acknowledge that the truth is after godliness, because they have perfected themselves . (Titus 1:1, Gal3:3) How do we know if God’s grace is upon us? He will separate us from all the people that are upon the earth (Ex 33:16) ;These are not under the dominion of sin, but under the teaching of grace. (Rom 6:14, 17) Why? Because God says He will have mercy on whom He chooses. (33:19)

Consequently, if you are separated with those who are doing evil, you will fall because you do not have this understanding (Hos 4:14); and without understanding there is no conversion unto being healed. (Matt 13:15) Are you a believer who is not subjecting yourself to this teaching of grace? Then you will not be able to obey,( Rom 6:17 with Titus 2:11-12) and therefore you will be separated from God because of your iniquities. (Is 59:2, Hos 9:10) Rather suffer these words of exhortation so that God would work in you to make you willing and cause you to perform (His will) for His good pleasure. (Heb 13:22-21, Phil 2:13) God needs to separate us from others, so that we would be His people whom He has made holy. (Lev 20:26, Num 16:5, 1Pet 1:16) Remember being holy is having understanding. (Prov 9:10) We need to be separated from the congregation, so that God would bring us unto Him (to learn what needs to be learned) so that we could do His work and stand before the congregation to minister unto them. (Num 16:9) This is how God shows whom are His, because He makes these holy. (16:5)
Are you shutting yourself away from everyone to seek the Lord? Then in the process of time He will open your mouth to speak His words. (Ez 3:24&27) Those that tremble at His word, hear the word of the LORD:
The brethren that hate you and separate themselves from you for My namesake, is so that the LORD will be glorified, and they will be ashamed. (Is 66:5) Why? Because when the Lord spoke to them (through His servants) and they would not hear, but continued in their unrighteousness. (66:4) These believers have chosen their own ways (self-willed see 2Pet 2:10) and delight in their abominations. (66:3) These are believers who are carnal because of envy, division, and striving. (1Cor 3:3) These are ignorant of the righteousness of God because they will not subject themselves to the righteousness of God (Rom 10:3); which righteousness comes from the teaching of grace which enables us to deny ungodliness and worldly lusts so that we can live righteous and godly in this present world because of God’s sobering controlling influence over us. (Titus 2:11-12, Rom 6:17)

Let us ask God to help us come out from the things of the world and be separate from them (2Cor 6:17) so that we can be instructed (through the repentant chastening process see Jer 31:18-19) by the faithful minister whom God sends unto us (Col 1:7, 4:7, 1Thess 3:2, Eph 6:21, 4:11-12, 1Cor 4:17). This servant (whom God sends) is gentle and patient while meekly instructing those who oppose themselves so that God might grant them repentance unto the acknowledging of the truth (which is after godliness Titus 1:1) so that they could be recovered from doing the devil’s will (in their lives). (2Tim 2:24-26) These are learning how to lay the foundation of repentance so that they might be permitted by God to go on to (Christian) perfection. (Heb 6:1-3) Another words, they are able to cleanse themselves from all filthiness of their flesh and spirit, (through the power of the Spirit) in the fear of God (which hates evil and pride AND every false way to come to God, Prov 9:10) which will bring them to perfection (2Cor 7:1); because of godly sorrow working repentance unto salvation. (2Cor 7:10) Have you proven yourself to be clear in the matter of repentance ? Then you will have these fruits. (2Cor 7:11) It is these that are patiently waiting through the Spirit, to be made righteous and loving, so that they could serve others in this loving ability(Gal 5:5-6&13); because they have been freed by Christ. (Gal 5:1) It is the truth that needs to be worked into us by God, so that it’s light meaning; the walk of light which is in all goodness, righteousness and truth, in love (Eph 5:8-9,2) would come out of us (Jn 3:21 with Eph 2:8-10); so that we would not be under the condemnation of believing in Jesus while practicing evil deeds. (Jn 3:19&16)

Have you been separated to seek the LORD God? Then you can confess your transgressions to the Lord, so that you can be strengthened to do His work. (Ezra 6:21-22, 10:11) You will not learn these things by the thousands of instructors, but only by the FEW fathers who beget us through the (true) gospel. (1Cor 4:15-16) These preach by demonstrating in the power of the Spirit so that our faith would stand in the POWER of God, NOT in the wisdom of men. (1Cor 2:4-5) The power of the Holy Spirit teaches us by comparing scripture with scripture (1 Cor 2:13); so that we can go on to have the mind of Christ, which can spiritually judge all things, yet be judged of no man.( 1Cor 2:16-15)Those who are spiritual can acknowledge that these things which are written are the commands of the LORD. (1Cor 14:37) We can be awakened so that we would not be into sin (without confession 1Jn 1:9) It is a shame if you don’t have the knowledge of this work of God. (1Cor 15:34,14:20, Eph 2:10) Those who want to be ignorant of these spiritual things, let them remain ignorant. This is for decency and order (1Cor 14:38&40 with Hos 4:6); because God will have all things done decently and in order. (1Cor 14:40) This grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with you. (Phil 4:23) Amen.

I see lots of quoting but little understanding.

If you had the first clue concerning what grace and the Gospel are, you would not be calling people to submit to it. You would instead be setting people free by it. You have fallen into the trap of man's self delusion, that we must play at least a part in their salvation.

HP: I appreciated your post. We indeed do need to go on to perfection of life and spirit. May it be the desire of my life to walk holy in all manner of conversation, thought life, and subsequent actions by the power promised to us by God through the Holy Spirit working in and through our lives.

    Mr. Chemnitz,

Since I don't seem to have a clue of what grace and the gospel is, why don't you lovingly edify me in the word of God since you seem to have the understanding rather than having a critical spirit that attaches your opinions without using the Scriptures?
You don't know anything about love, because love edifies others in the word of God so that others may be built up in the wisdom and knowledge of God. (Eph 4:16,29 2Cor 12:19, 1Cor 14:26, Rom 15:2)
