    Actually I do pay a part on the plan but I don't get as much bang for the buck as I used to. I expect the costs to go even higher.

    I'm covered as a mil. retiree. It isn't free, as I was promised, but still better than what most civilians have.

    I don't like what they did to the vets with this tri-plan. Bush did you guys wrong. The fat in the VA was in the administration and not in the patient care. He cut the wrong end of the budget.

    We have TriCare (military insurance) through DH retiring after 26 years. We don't pay anything for it and it is our secondary insurance. Our primary insurance is through hubby's group plan at work.

    I will be exchanging TriCare for Medicare this November if I elect only Medicare A. If I add Medicare B, I can keep the TriCare. I have no clue how to go about understanding Medicare! :(
