Hebrews 2:9 is another verse I saw presented in one of the posts. Instead of get off on rabbit trails, I would like to address this verse in a proper forum.

If you believe this verse contradicts what is commonly called "Calvinism", please give your view on the following items:

1.)The word "man" is not in the greek. It is simply "every" or "all".

2.)The context would have to determine the scope of this "all".

3.)Here are the "all" being spoken of throughout Heb. 2:
    vs. 10- "many sons"
vs. 10- "captatin of 'their' salvation"
vs. 11- "those who are being sanctified"
    vs. 11- "brethren"
    vs. 12- "brethren"
    vs. 12- "assembly"
vs. 13- "chilren whom God has given me"
    vs. 14- "the children"
    vs. 17- "brethren"
vs. 17- "sins of the people"
    vs. 3:1- "Holy brethren"

Please comment on the above if you commonly cite this verse.
