Do you understand the abbreviations mentioned below: as: "infra" and "sq"

If so, could you let me know what these reference to?

    Thanks

    Dear all,

I am working on Calvin's Institutes for Online Bible even though they have already been done by someone else. However, they were constructed such that within Online Bible the sections that are mentioned are not directly assessible inside the program. That's the part I am trying to correct.

Do any of you take the following statement of Calvin to be a reference to another part of his work? I do but I do not understand the Infra... part of it. Do you? The statement about creation does match those parts of his Institutes.

These, however, I purposely omit, because a better opportunity of introducing them will be found when I come to treat of the Scriptural account of the creation. ( Infra , chap. 14 s. 1, 2, 20, sq .)

Does anyone know what the Infra . is an abbreviation for? I understand the chapter 14, section 1, 2, 20 but what does the sq . stand for?

    Haaaaalp.....

    Regie

"Infra" structure and "sq" sessequential? sequitor?

Supposing "infra" to be in reference to the basics and "sq" being in sequence to that basic thought?

Of course you can go to http://www.onlinebible.net/index.html and go to "contact us" and ask that same question via e-mail. I have found them to be very helpful.

    In Christ,

    Brother Ricky

"infra" means inside. The author is referring to his own work. "SQ" I don't know. It is not a common one.
