I'm denying that it matters. The right will sound like the right, & the left will sound wrong. No matter who says it first.

    I don't celebrate pagan holidays.

You have also failed to show where Rush's talking points end up here, you just claim they do. And, I have NEVER denied listening to him, actually the opposite.

Yes, I have, and it's true regardless of whether or not you want to admit it. Rush's talking points end up on this discussion board quite frequently.
Even many of his trademark phrases end up in several posts, despite repeated claims that many on this board do not listen to him.

Remember: I willingly admit to listening to him. Anyone who does listen to him and participates in these discussions knows this to be true.

BTW, I noticed that the quote in your signature line still isn't attributed to the person who wrote it. You told me that it was common; however, the person who made this statement didn't bother to put it in quotes, which seems to indicate that it was his statement.

    Regards,

Wow: that really was a genuine wish for you and yours. Oh well.....

Yes I have, and I have pointed it out several times.

Rush's opinions end up reflected here, just like Rhodes, Franken, O'Donnel, Olberman, Carlson, and any other pundit.

Also, and this I'm serious about, I have NEVER denied listening to him. I enjoy him, and listen to him when work permits, and have stated so several times, so for you to insinuate I have ever said anything different is quite dishonest. If we are to continue to talk, let's bury that one, OK ?

I actually recorded Randi Rhode's show to see where her talking points were stated, and you then said that you were not serious. Now you have restated that they do indeed end up here.

First of all, I didn't "insinuate" that you didn't listen to him. If you would simply calm down and re-read what I wrote, I pointed out you indicated that you did indeed listen to him, didn't I? It's right there in post #20, and it's too late for me to alter what I wrote.

Bottom line: Rush's talking points end up on this discussion quite frequently and you know it. There is no hatchet to bury, as I have no malice. The only malice I encounter is when I point out that his talking points are being reproduced here, as some take offense to that.

Everybody's talking points end up here, because they all say the same thing. I wish youd at least admit that.

Come to think of it, all you have ever done is say....

"That's funny, I just heard Rush say the same thing", and that's all you have ever done, you've never bothered to answer any of the challenges for proof.

Is it so you can just blow off the point being made ? That's what I think.

(I made the Randy Rhodes comment just to poke you in the ribs, I'll admit that)

The proof is the fact that I actually listen to him. Exactly how do you want me to prove this, Bro. Curtis? I can start taping his show and them creating mp3 files if that is what you want. Bottom line: many of his points show up in this discussion - often virtually verbatim. Look at his phrases that end up in the discussion (i.e. "drive by media" or variants thereof).

Then you are wholly and completely wrong.

Well, I was ready to document it for you. I still have the recording - if you like I can make an attempt to document any points she made that have made it into the discussion.

    Admit it?
I was ready to confirm your claim that Randi Rhodes' comments are here, only to find that you were attempting to poke me in the ribs.

Sure, go right ahead. But remember that I was ready and willing to confirm a claim that other talking points are showing up in this discussion..... just like those of Rush Limbaugh. In the case of Randi Rhodes, I actually had the means by which to verify the claim.

You don't have to prove it. I know most folks here are salesmen, technicians, mechanics, etc, we dont have the gift of words, so we look to pundits who reflect our views, and we use their points in conversations & arguments, to help us better make our points.

That's why you hear Rush, Rhodes, Franken, & Hannity when others speak.

It shouldn't be a big deal, and it shouldn't be used to try and make others embarrassed.

That is NOT why I note this - I simply want people to think for themselves, rather than simply accept the ideas and opinions of others.

Most people think better than they talk. I'm glad I have Glenn Beck & Rush to give me better ways to articulate my feeleings. That doesn't make me a zombie.

Again, yes, I have, regardless of whether or not you choose to acknowledge it.

I am referring to the statement in your signature line - you know who the "he" is.

By any chance, did you hear her show yesterday? Remember how I taped it on my XM2Go? I listened to it today while I was out doing errands, and she did reference an article at salon.com that I found interesting.

    Interesting......

Nope. Don't have a clue. But there has been no substantiation. You make vague claims with no source given to back them up, no link or reference to written source we can go to look up, therefore no substantiation.

So, are you saying that you don't know the source of the quote in your signature line? Are you sure about that?

Again: yes, I have. Unlike many on the board, I willingly admit to listening to Limbaugh, and have seen many of his talking points end up in this discussion, sometimes almost verbatim. If it is proof you want, simply tune into his show, each weekday from noon to three EDT. Any regular listener can tell you that his talking points end up in this forum regularly.
If I can find my microphone, I will start recording Rush, just for you.

Quite sure. It was sugge4sted to me that David Horowitz said it. But I do not know. Im curious about the attention to my signature. Why would it bother some so?
