You May Be Right, or, You May Be Wrong....

I believe the report could have been written differently....but, there have been WAY tooooo many errors, mistakes, mis-spoken words, etc., coming out of this administration. I'm sure you will admit that, so far, the current administration is poorly representing this nation. From the economy, to foreign policy, there have been WAY toooo many gaffes.

After all, these folks are supposed to be the best of the best. We can't have the WH making the kind of errors they are making without risking the professional image this nation would like to portray to the world. So far, they appear to be nothing more than amateurs, not heads of state.....:tonofbricks:

When and if that day ever comes, I will post the question here first...

I really don't know how any administration could be worse than Hoovers and we survived that.

And you guys challenge him to stop using his teleprompter.... You are laying in wait like buzzards just waiting for a word to be out of place and you want to him stop using a teleprompter. I can do nothing but feel bad for the guy with so many folks criticizing his ever word, gesture, smile etc...

I hope you guys know that you push his stock up with every senseless criticism.

You have not learned yet that you do not really know what pushes his stock up.

I have my own opinion as to "who" and "what" pushes his stock up, but won't post it here.

    Nice overgeneralization.

I don't get into the silly stuff. I criticize the man's policies, political philosophy, and his handling of our government and ultimately our freedoms.

But some of your knee-jerk defenses of him border on the comical.

I think the petty, senseless criticism is bad form, and I've said so, many times.

But so is knee-jerk defending of the indefensible.

    The Truth is.....

.....there is NO viable defense of, or for Obama. His narcissistic attitude has heaped upon him what he has earned. In his case "what goes around, comes around" is happening at light-speed terms. Thanks be to God. Pray for his TelePrompter's to fail every time he speaks. That is where he runs into trouble... He can't seem to speak "off-the-cuff." That's a real time weakness!:tonofbricks:

Actually, I was thinking just the opposite. It's refreshing to see the world love the president of our great nation instead of throwing shoes at him. The economy is looking up and I haven't seen any foreign policy flaws to speak of. In fact, his plan for the war got great acceptance by all military involved (excluding the enemy). I also don't consider this a gaff, I think the right is just too sensitive and made a real art of being the victim.

Glad the rest of the world and 63% of American's don't agree with you.

Yes, it's always nice seeing murderous thugs such as Hugo Chavez fawn over our president.

Acknowledging him as democratic leader of his nation in no way says America supports his policies or actions. This is the narrow thinking of some in this nation that to this day I don't understand. I agree with Obama that it is time that America stops pretending that it is perfect and has the responsibility of being moral judge to the rest of the world. We as a nation have not always lived up to our creed that all men are created equal so who are we to pass judgment on others who also struggle to "get it right"?

Oh, you are so right. Why on earth would we ever think it's OK to show any moral fiber? The fact that we didn't recognize Hitler is unforgivable. He was just a poor, misunderstood, fella doin' his best to get by. We're not perfect, so we have no right to question those who attempt to kill their opposition, surpress freedom of religion, exterminate races of folks, etc....

You know, moral relativism doesn't line up very well with the Bible. Has that thought ever crossed your mind?

I'll say it again: Thank God your view didn't win out in the late 1930's/early 1940's...otherwise, there would be no Jewish race, and this post might be in German, or Japanese.

Were you not defending torture in another thread? You look good speaking about moral fiber then supporting torture. I believe "fork tongue" is what that is called.

Do you actually believe that Obama is anywhere close to Hitler? If so, I feel sorry for your delusion.

And you are distorting the message of the Bible. If I were you I would be concerned about that.

Read my posts before falsely accusing.

I supported things such as turning the lights on at night.

    I specifically opposed physical violence.

    Now...what were you saying?

I was deriding moral relativism, not calling Obama Hitler. The Hitler/President allusion was yours, remember? (hint: the president you love to hate).

    Try and keep up, hmm?

Because you make an outrageous claim doesn't make it the truth.

Time will tell. He is making rapid strides toward Fascism, the latest being plans to convert preferred stock in the banks to common stock.

BTW JC; if anyone on this Forum is delusional I am afraid it is you.
