Hey if you did "See You At The Pole" write here talk about it

    We had around 20 to 30 something teens meeting to pray around the pole today it was awesome. Schools all around the country were doing same so a lot of prayers offered up. And some teens were joking while we were praying about satan and such but hopefully she will come to Christ and others. But God is awesome and so all of you share your meeting at the poll today God bless

    That there kinda confused me! Could you explain?
    Anyways, no I did not attend SYATP. I have several reasons.
    Awhile back our town started a group to "Unite all youth groups together." which means any and every church of any doctrine belief is allowed to join. They sponsered the praying at the flag pole. I'm not having anything to do with a group like that. I'm not INDEPENDANT fundamental Baptist for nothing. I don't believe in joining up any ole beleif in the name of Christ.
    Besides that, I can not have fellowship with any group that believes in works salvation {there's our Pentecostal/church of God churches of this town.} or anyone who believes in sprinkeling {there's our Presbeterians.} women preachers {there come our Methodists.} and I couldn't even name all the Catholic doctrines I don't agree with. Besides the fact I'm KJB only, and they use any ole version for their meetings.
    They also had some "Christian" rock group come in last night. Needless to say one of my teachers mentioned you couldn't even hear the words of the songs, their instruments were so loud. {Sounds to me like a tinkeling brass and sounding cymbal... ;) }
    Also it seems almost hypocritical to attend. I knew a lot of the kids who when to the flagpole to pray...the same ones that use all sorts of foul language, most of the girls run around dressed in TIGHT skirts and pants, with there shirts so low cut you can see far more than you'd ever want to see. They guys are about as bad baggy pants WAY too low. And I could go on. I've grown up with most of these kids, and you can't tell me the same ones that run around disrespecting adults, bragging about what they did while on a date, and talking down to anyone not like them are living for God! The Bible teaches against those things, and I won't be involved, and couldn't be involved with a group like that.
    It's fine to pray with folks, and I can do that with my saved friends or my church family. I know some of you may not agree, but this is the stand I take and of course ya did ask about it!
    Anyways, I hope ya'll don't have a bunch like I've got! Maybe ya'll had better results.
    At any rate, the fire alarm went off during their praying and they ended up haveing to go away from the building....they never did figure out WHY the alarm went off...I wonder.... [​IMG] :D ;)

    abby what i meant about teens talking about satan while we were praying (which was outside every one sits out there so we were in middle of whole school) some of the teens not praying looking at us were saying stuff like that. But abby we have different denominations to but i dont refuse to pray with them. What are you going to do when you get to heaven u know baptist wont be only ones allowd. And for King James only lol hey dont even get me started on that King James fell from heaven cause God kicked it out lol i use the KJV (only kidding about kicked out of heaven) but i dont tell people it is wrong to use other versions because kjv only opens way for cultism it says a man made thing is some how better than the others. Bible the original is greek and hebrew not old english. I think it is wrong to skip prayer any ways because they believe different. And to make it sound like the fire alarm rang because what they were not baptist or kjv only or because there not perfect. I was lost on that one. I think if u go and pray to God it will be good. and i find no where in Bible where it says to be sepperate from other Christians nor do i find in the Bible where it says KJV is only right Bible. You cant have that attitude i believe it is wrong. Yes maybe some teens are not what they should be but none of us are if we were we would be in heaven. And yes been around the teens who dont care at all for God but why should that keep u from joininng in prayer. I believe atittudes like that hurt the cause of Christ. not all baptist go to heaven and no matter how ur dressed how long u been to church and if u memorized the whole kjv it aint going to get u to heaven. There will be other denoms there. And church of God people teach real salvation yes they believe in losing it but u know what good does it do if u never associate with any one. God bless

    My high school did see ya at the pole.
    About 10 people did it but the next time we do it were're going to make sure the school knows about it, in well advanced time. [​IMG]
