I have always thought with all the technology we have now that certain secrets that have been baffling us would be revealed. Why haven't they been... Case in point Noah's Ark is it really on Mt. Arrat?... Not that I am a disbeliever but the question I am asking is not God keeping these hidden for a reason?... What about the Ark Of The Covenant?... Does it still exist and what would be the importance of it if it is found?... What validity does it have seeing it was replaced by a living ark?... Why are these things hidden and why are they discovered and is not there discovery because God allowed it?... Is not evidence brought forth for a purpose and when it is brought forth doesn't it define further who we are and how our world and us are here... After all is not history... His Story and we are just a part of the overall picture of the whole... We know in part and see in part and look through a glass darkly... The hidden things belong to God and the revealed things belong to man that God uncovered and revealed to him!... Those are my thought what are yours?... Brother Glen [IMG]

As for Noah's Ark where do we look? The Bible doesn't say that it is on Mt Ararat.

    Genesis 8:4

"...and on the seventeenth day of the seventh month the ark came to rest on the mountains of Ararat."

This mountain area is huge. We are also assuming the ark has stayed intact for the past 5000 years.

And if there is even one piece of the Ark remaining, would there not be a Catholic Church soon built over that site?

In the holy land there is a church built over a rock that had some white dropping on it. They claim it to be the drops of milk from Mary and call it the church of the lactation.

Glad there ARE no pieces of the ark, or cross, or hair from the beard . . .

Noah's ark was only about half the size of the Titanic, wasn't it? Putting it in perspective like that makes it much easier to understand why something from that long ago wouldn't be a very easy find.
Maybe they built houses for themselves out of the wood from it, so it wouldn't exist anyhow. [IMG]
