    Gotta love this...

    Hillary Booed

If the New Hampshire Democratic Party’s 100 Club dinner is any bell weather – Barack Obama will handily win here. When Obama, the dinner’s last speaker, took the stage the crowd surged forward chanting “O-bam-a” and “Fired Up, Ready to Go!” So many people pressed toward the stage that an announcer asked people to “please take their seats for safety concerns.”
By comparison Hillary was twice booed. The first time was when she said she has always and will continue to work for "change for you. The audience, particularly from Obama supporters (they were waving Obama signs) let out a noise that sounded like a thousand people collectively groaning. The second time came a few minutes later when Clinton said: "The there are two big questions for voters in New Hampshire. One is: who will be ready to lead from day one? The second," and here Clinton was forced to pause as boos from the crowd mixed with cheers from her own supporters. "Is who can we nominate who will go the distance against the Republicans?”
The dinner held in the Hampshire Dome in Milford is the largest political dinner in New Hampshire history, Republican or Democrat. More than 3,000 people attended.

    By democrats, at that.

    Interesting...

I think Bill's campaigning is hurting her more than he helps. His sub message is that if you elect her, I'll actually be running the show.

Booing anyone is in very poor taste.

That's for sure. People need to show some class. I am supporting Kucinich or Edwards, but I'd be polite to any candidate, from Huckabee to Obama; from Giuliani to Richardson. Heck, even though I despise what President Bush has done to the nation, I'd treat him with all respect due him as a human being, and for the office of the President. Not to say I wouldn't debate him or try to sway him. Booing is just very bad manners.

Also, while I am not supportive of Hillary Clinton, I am glad that we are actually seeing (at least on the Democratic side) some diversity. There is a woman, an African-American, a Hispanic, along with the white guys! :) I am not against a woman president, just that Sen. Clinton is not my choice. Maybe you, Bitsy, but not Hillary!

I agree with the others that booing is a simple lack of respect and is in poor taste. Also, you have to understand that the booing is coming from the Obama crowd. I think with that, it makes it a very non-story story.

BTW, I am not a supporter nor fan of Hillary, but I don't see anything funny or worth posting in the article.

Step down from the box.... I only posted my opinion that the article didn't warrant a "gotta love this"...

If you think it's respectable to boo someone, then by all means.. go ahead. I posted my opinion about this thread/article. You can choose to ignore my comments you know. :wavey:

I know I could ignore it, but I choose to post that there are some people here that respect the person even though they don' agree with them..

This is like the people that bash Bush and you guys get all up in arms about it and respecting the office etc... I have a problem with Bush and his poilicies but I don't bash or nor would I boo him.

I would think the article would have been worth while if it had been Democrats all and all booing. Not that is would have been right, but at least it would show her losing support in her base, and not just losing support from the competitor.

Now, let's be civil here.. Don't get all bent out of shape just because of my comments.

I am not on a box or bent out of shape.

If I offended someone by posting "gotta love this" then I apologize, that was not my intention.

I never said I did not respect Hillary Clinton. I never said I would boo her. I simply posted the article because I found it interesting. It seems to me another sign that the wheels are falling off her campaign.

With that we can agree. And it's a good thing...

I apologize to you. I guess I jumped the gun some. It just looked like you were for people booing Hillary. I don't agree with her and don't want her as POTUS but she still deserves respect. All the candidates do. Even the Dennis guy, what's his last name?

Sorry if I jumped the gun.

It's Obama Mania right now. If he somehow manages to win New Hampshire and ride that momentum all the way through February 5 we could very easily have President Obama come January 20, 2009.

On the other hand, if Clinton wins New Hampshire she can grab the momentum and be the "Comeback Kid" in New Hampshire like her husband was in 1992. Even though he didn't win New Hampshire he did so much better than expected that he was able to spin it into, in essence, a victory.

Its funny how people don't seem to realize that most can see that thier underlining protest and not the "its not christian too boo" ideal is not the real cause for protest.

For instance this post....its not right too boo but okay to call someone a buffoon.

Interesting post SBC I like to keep tabs on how the Dems view or like Hillary.

==I suppose you overlooked the laughing faces on both sides of the statements? The statement about O'Reilly was a joke, I am sorry you missed it.

It might be in poor taste, but I don't think we are going to try to eat it.

Stop Hillary. Stop Hillary. Stop Hillary.

I'm not offended by anyone saying, "gotta love this".

I have absolutely no respect for Hillary.

I think that the article is not only interesting but humorous.

And I hope that the wheels fall off, and the hubs, and that the axles break, and the frame crumbles, and that Hillary's campaign erupts into a giant fireball.

I would boo her. And given the chance, I'd throw a pie in her face.

Exactly what we would expect from you. I think you should do it if you aren't all talk. Then you can sit in jail for a very long time.

I wouldn't boo her, but then again, I wouldn't walk across the street to go to one of her events. And I certainly wouldn't waste a perfectly good pie on her.

I have booed people at hockey games. And I know they've heard me, cuz I have a voice like a foghorn. But that's probably different.
