Remarks from Hillary Clinton on Libya

Well, Hillary, old gal, some of us could have told you how it could happen and that it very likely COULD happen - and YOU should know the answer, you were privvy to more Intel than we, The People, were.

It was reported in multiple sources that the "freedom fighters" in Libya who were trying to depose Gadaffi had been some of the same people that were fighting against us in Iraq - killing American troops and planting IEDs to blow off arms and legs. These same people brutalized Gadaffi when they found him hiding in a sewer pipe, tortured him, and the video is on the web. These same people begged for our help and your boss and you decided to give it to them. Foolish. Against common sense, but liberals usually operate in foolishness. The RPGs fired into our Embassy in Libya could very well be some of those your State Dept gave them.

So how could this happen? The answer is simple - your boss and you, under his direction, are playing dangerous games with America and America's foreign policy. The game of appeasement and military and financial aid to peoples who hate us and the downgrading of our military can only bring more American deaths. This "game" you play with Islamists is a game you will lose, WE will lose. THIS is how it could happen. And it will happen again and again, as long as your boss and you are in charge. It was easily predictable back in the early days of the so-called Arab spring. Just as future attacks are predictable now. Learning the history of the enemy is a helpful tool. THIS IS HOW IT HAPPENS.

Begging hillary's question------the same could be asked by George Washington today----if he could somehow be brought back from the grave and were able to stand on the steps of the Capital building---or make his way into congressional chambers and listen to democratic garbage

George Washington would have to ask the same question

    HOW COULD THIS HAPPEN??????

If we don't get this regime out of Washington, it will get worse and worse.
People, you hae got to get the vote out!!! The socialist Obama
needs to go back to Chicago and let men with GUTS run our government.

I am so ashamed right now. We used to command respect in the world.
Now we are laughed at while our flags are burned and our delegates
murdered because WE DON'T DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT!

Seems to me this is just what the neocons under Bush who are now Romney's advisers wanted. A new global threat they could use to increase military spending and as a justification for their endless wars for global hegemony.

Think back to before 9/11 folks. This is exactly what the neocons ordered.

Obama and Clinton just handed it to them on a golden platter.

    What a coincidence, eh?

George Washington would be considered a dangerous domestic extremist today Blackbird. As an American war veteran questioning the government he'd no doubt be detained indefinitely in a psychiatric hospital before he could even get close to the capitol building. If we were lucky someone would post a video on youtube of his capture. There would be a half dozen black masked good guys in battle gear spraying him with tear gas, using tasers and kicking the snot out of him for resisting arrest.

And we'd all defend the black masked good guys.

Looks like all the ducks are in a row now for another false flag attack on the United States. I wonder how many here will without question "get behind the president" if and when it happens?

I imagine all of you will.

As suggested earlier, this is a prison offense. Imagine the percentage of politicians guilty of some type of crime. It must be well over 90.

    Remember old Pat Buchanan?

He was the one that BOTH the liberals on the left and the so-called "neo-cons" on the right castigated for being an isolationist whose head was in the sand.

While I may disagreed with some parts of his views on theology, when it comes to his views on the basis of US foreign policy ever since the 1890's (if not years earlier), I pretty much have to agree with him, and the thesis of his book on the basis of both parties' ideas on what the foreign policy(-ies) should be.

If you ever get a chance to read his classic commentary on the history and the guiding philosophies upon which both D and R administrations from at least as far back as that of Republican Teddy Roosevelt, you should, by all means IMHO, buy it and read it.

His book's title pretty well sums it all up: A Republic, Not an Empire.

And, if I'm not mistaken (please correct me if I'm wrong BTW), wasn't a certain GOP former MA governor one of those chorus of voices that demanded that the US intervene more directly (i.e., with US military "boots on the ground") than that which the US government officials in the B Hussein O administration thought to be proper and necessary at the time?

Could this be at least one of the reasons that the current GOP POTUS candidate (most of whose advisors are from the pro-interventionist, pro-"internationalist" [code for "ANTI-US SOVEREIGNTY and/or ANTI-US "EXCEPTIONALISM" {whatever that's supposed to mean}] Council on Foreign Relations [CFR]) was so muted in his initial response to the news that the so-called anti-Ghadaffi "FREEDOM" fighters (most of which were covert MUSLIM BROTHERHOOD supporters) killed the US AMBASSADOR to Libya, rioted in the streets of the Libyian capital city of Bengazi, and burned "OLD GLORY" for all the world to see?

Ron Paul tried to warn everyone about the "blowback" from using terrorists to fight our illegal wars. He was booed and called an isolationist by alot of folks here.
