"... the saints being caught up in the air to meet Christ and then taken to heaven according to the John 14:1-4 promise of Christ."

    GE:

Incorrect: "the saints being caught up in the air" -- as shown above.

Not in text: "... to meet Christ and then taken to heaven ..."

Not in promise of Jn14:1-4: "... taken to heaven ..."

"The time line according to Matthew 24

    1. church age continues <== you are here! Matthew 24:4-15

    2. Tribulation time Matthew 24:21-28

    3. Second Advent of Jesus event Matthew 24:29-30)

    4. rapture/resurrection event Matthew 24:31-44, Rev 20:4-5

    5. Millennium - Rev 20:5-end"

    GE:

100% but for dividing '5' and the fore-going.

"The rest of the dead". They are the ungodly, the lost, obviously. When the 'thousand years' or Christian era closes with Christ's 'Second Coming' it closes with the general resurrection of all the dead both saints and wicked. Only the saints will have received the first resurrection - the regeneration to life eternal through Christ. "Blessed and holy" are they (verse 6)

"The rest of the dead". They are the ungodly, and include the devil, obviously. "When the thousand years (the Gospel era) are expired, satan will be loosed". (verse 7)
