Honour your parents

    True, but in today's economy the expenses far outway the ability of most children to take on the medical expenses alone.

    I believe in letting them move in and take care of them in their old age as we are enabled to do so, but when we can't, isn't it good we do have a government that has set aside programs to at least care for those we cannot care for?

    Seems some folks are confusing honor with obey. Once the child has become an adult and has moved out of their parents house, they are no longer under authority of the parents. If one is actively seeking that intimate walk with God, I can not think of a better way to honor their parents.
