I know that there are places such as villagephotos and photobucket where you can upload and host pictures.

Is there a place like that for documents such as stories, sermons, etc?

When I saw your question Pastor, I did a little bit of digging but didn't find anything.

Soooooo, my next feeble thought is -- what if you just opened a free site and uploaded your sermons, manuscripts, etc as pdf files for easy access? You could copy a blurb from each for an intro maybe and then the link???

I use Adobe Acrobat too. There are some free converters online. Once you convert it you upload it like any other file, but with the .pdf extention. I was thinking pdf files because they are harder to copy and manipulate, but it can still be done.

I just had another thought too -- I'm slow.

You can convert your documents to a web page. I've done that with some that would take too long to format. They look just fine. In Word -- go to Save As and in the box at the bottom that says "SAVE AS TYPE" choose Single File WebPage.

Here's a page that came to me as a Word Doc that I saved as an web page.

They have to be uploaded somewhere.

I used geocities for webspace before I got my own site. That would work, but it does have limited bandwidth.

I'm wondering if you opened a yahoo briefcase if you could link from there.

Does your church have a website? You could open a file on that server.

OK, Pastor -- try those two links and see if they work for you. If they do, I'll tell you what I did :D

I signed out of Yahoo and they worked for me, but I still might have some cookie giving them the cyber go-ahead. So I want to see if you can get them.

Great! I love it when things work like they should. The rest is easy!

In the yahoo briefcase, open your file. It will open in a window with an address to copy and use on your blog.

I didn't see this when I asked you to test them. Just so you know I haven't completely lost what little sense I've got (yet!).
