You are using a total count. To be fair we'd have to compare your number to all people killed in all wars throughout time.

To be consistent you'd have to count the number of abortions that took place duing the same time span as the war. This would include counting any fetus' killed if a woman was with child (by the popular theory here)...

To be even more fair you'd have to count the death's which were totally unrelated to the war. I say this because not all abortions have anything to do with birth control. Some are medically necessary.

And you have done this and this is why you made the original statement? Did you count the wars God Himself starts. The ones where He tells the Hebrews to go in and take the land killing all life, the women, the children, the livestock, leave nothing alive?

How about the future ones He will start when He draws the nation's armies into Armageddon? Do you know which ones are from God and which ones surprised Him?

Don't you see the end times prophecies coming to past by all eyes constantly watching the middle east and all of it's fightings?

Do you believe the USA, the most powerful nation in the world, can resist God's will and NOT get invovled in middle east affairs?

Do you actually believe there can be peace in the middle east before Jesus returns? Scripture declares No. When you do see peace, the false antichrist peace that is to come, look out, pray you are raptured outa here!

Why does any Christian HERE, who SHOULD know the scriptures concerning wars and rumors of wars, and the plan God has for the destruction of nations at Armageddon, probably even ours, believe that the USA can stay out of it?

    IT AIN"T HAPPEN"IN!

Do what you can to save the innocent. Wars you are not stopping!

    God Bless!

We survived 8 years of a hotheaded liar named Clinton.

The problem is that Senator McCain wants to start a war with Iran and keep our troops in Iraq for a hundred years. There is no way that I will vote for him in November.

I think every President in the past 100 years bombed someone or said they would IF they had to.

Every President better have the smarts to at the least WARN the world that WE WILL if threatened. NEVER take your strong cards off the table!!

Sorry, but as a Christian I don't think that starting a war is something to be joking about.

    No, he didn't.

"There must be no safe haven for those who plot to kill Americans."

    http://www.foreignaffairs.org/20070.../renewing-american-leadership.html?mode=print

Going after al Qaeda(the folks who attacked these United States on 9/11/2001) in a nation where that nation refuses to take action is not the same thing as attacking Iran(which had nothing to do with the folks who attacked these United States on 9/11/2001 being that most Iranians are Shiites and al Qaeda is a Sunni organization).

Because our troops and Seoul are too much at real risk if we attack North Korea.

I can provide the info in context, dragonfly.

"I understand that President Musharraf has his own challenges. But let me make this clear. There are terrorists holed up in those mountains who murdered 3,000 Americans. They are plotting to strike again. It was a terrible mistake to fail to act when we had a chance to take out an al Qaeda leadership meeting in 2005. If we have actionable intelligence about high-value terrorist targets and President Musharraf won’t act, we will."

    Further,

"I will not hesitate to use military force to take out terrorists who pose a direct threat to America. This requires a broader set of capabilities, as outlined in the Army and Marine Corps’s new counter-insurgency manual. I will ensure that our military becomes more stealth, agile, and lethal in its ability to capture or kill terrorists. We need to recruit, train, and equip our armed forces to better target terrorists, and to help foreign militaries to do the same."

    http://my.barackobama.com/page/community/post_group/ObamaHQ/CpHR

As one can see, Senator Obama did not say anything about bombing Pakistan. He referred to special forces-type operations - small, quick, and stealthy - against al Qaeda, not Pakistan.
