But what if every party except the Dems ran a female candidate who denied a heliocentric model of reality?

Oo. Glad you brought that up. Who denied it? Einstein's theories of Relativity simply put the heliocentric model on par with the geocentric one. Relativity says there is no absolute space and all motion is relative. That theory was created because there is no experiment nor observation that proves either the sun or the earth at rest in relation to each other or any other star. If all motion is relative, any point in space, even the moon, could be assumed to be the center of mass of the universe and be at rest, and all the observations of astronomers be explained according to the known laws of physics.

In short, no observation nor experiment compels one to assume the earth or some other body to be in motion. It's just one's preferential coordinate plane. That's what Einstein and Hawking say, anyway—if they're to be believed. But granted:

. . . there is no Einstein or Hawking running in this election.

The next time I geta speeding ticket I'm going to tell the judge I was actually remaining still while the world around me rushed past at 15 mph over the speed limit.

Well, your reality says, that if you were driving East, then you were really traveling a little less than 1000 mph over the speed limit, unless you were at one of the poles.

Your daily life is from the point of view of a motionless earth.

Christ's model of love and acceptance presents a sun in motion.

So thank goodness the law isn't going to take the motion of the earth into account when you're prosecuted.
