Another honest question - thanks for amplifying your previous response.

Hope your weekend is as great as mine,

Well there was his statement that although his mother was an athiest that he knew she was looking down from heaven because she was a good person. He has soteriology a little mixed up.

he also has stated that His God would not NOT send anyone to hell who was practicing their own religion , as his God would not be into "Just place faith in jesus and get saved"...

he also stated that while jesus is His messiah, works for him, that we have to respect and recognise there are other valid faiths in world...

So he appears to have social christianity, with liberal agenda thrown in to boot!

imo a true Chrisitian is one who believes Jesus Christ was all He said He was, That He died on the Cross to save them from their sins and they have followed the biblical instructions of calling on the name of the Lord and Believing in Him.

Not simply believing He existed but believing He is the only way and means of Salvation and that we can't be good and get to heaven. That we can;t work our way to heaven. These the President advocates and these are not biblically based.

Though you would probably consider me to be a radical leftist, we completely agree on the points made in the first paragraph, revmwc.

Does that mean you consider Mitt Romney not to be a "true Christian?"

    Regards,
    BiR

Obama is an ardent proponent of the slaughter of the unborn!

Obama is an ardent proponent of the marriage of homosexual perverts!

Obama claims the New Testament supports his decision on homosexual marriage!

Obama denies the most basic tenants of the Christian Faith!

    Obama is a Marxist!

So what does that make Obama other than a liar!
