Well, if you scored below a 40, you are not going to be on El_Guero's Christmas card list, that's for sure.

And if you scored below a 20.......well, my advice is to just stay out of his way.

(Brother El_Guero, I'm just pickin' at you. :wavey: )

The problem with this is that while Jack Kemp is a strong conservative - Dole was not (he was more of a moderate) - this is outdated as Newt Gingrich would better be in Dole's spot. This way I "might" be able to acknowledge the 31 I got.

Agreed - this survey was more along the line of 'moderate' which is just a RINO (Republican in name only) - and more liberal than conservative.

I scored a 31 but thought that the real test was for personal liberty or government intervention. The more we express our personal freedom the more Government has to counter balance it with laws.

    just my thoughts.

Big ole 7 here. I Guess that makes me the most liberal of the bunch, which I had pretty much already figured out.

I scored a 40 and extremely proud to associated in any way with Ronald Wilson Reagan ... the greatest president of my lifetime

How can Robert Dole be considered a conservative ... he appears to me to be too pragmatic ... did the creators of this quiz see his 1996 presidential campaigan ...

Some of the questions were hard...Kinda like asking a chicken, who do you trust, the fox or the coyote? On some I had to pick the coyote just on the off chance that he was too big to fit in the chicken coop.

Which do I trust, Unions of Business executives? Just kill me now and get it over with.

I've worked for large corporations, so I know they're corrupt. My uncle was a Teamsters President, so I know they are corrupt. It's sad to say, but I actually trust the government more than either of the other two. Whoo, I know that the Jedi felt that one...

scored a 12, but the questions were quite ridiculous. What does trusting athletes or owners have anything to do with politics. It is a poor analogy, IMO.

I am between Hillary and Bill Clinton

I agree! Rebuild the inner cities or build more prisons? What kind of choice is that? How about bringing back hard labor and the death penalty?

Who do I trust more? Where was none of the above?

I can't figure how ya'll are becoming liberals though. I played around with it a bit and the most liberal I could become was a 20! [IMG]

I played with the questions and the most liberal that I could become was a 36 . . .

And to that I reply like a famous man once said: "I beseech you, in the bowels of Christ, think it possible you may be mistaken."

I scored a 38, no surprise to me since I have always thought Reagan was the best president in my lifetime (voted for him both times).

I do agree with El Guero's points: Where are the questions about the death penalty, executing traitors, etc. Yes, I thought the same thing as some of you...some of the questions were like asking the chicken 'Whom do you trust more: the fox or the coyote?' I wanted to answer "None of the above!"

That question about Korea and Haiti, who knows WHAT they were thinking of there! (If you vote Korea, it makes your answer one point more toward conservative). It is interesting to go back and change an answer, then scroll down and click again on results, to see how the answer to a question changes the score.

Well, I scored a 33 right between Jack Kemp & Bob Dole, but had there been more questions, (like about the death penalty & foreign policy) I probably would have outscored Ronald Reagan, lol.
