    Don, I am a little "out of the loop" on this one. Why is there a "need" for determining how insects crossed the ocean? Is it anathema to assume that insects were already present?

    God brought the animals to Noah that He wanted on the ark. Noah didn't go and get the animals....Gen 7:15 And they went in unto Noah into the ark, two and two of all flesh, wherein is the breath of life.

    Insects are not animals. But according to an article I read not all of them needed the ark.

    Why didn't God let the flood kill certain insects like fleas, ticks, cock roaches, wasps, hornets, yellow jackets, mosquitoes, chiggers, slugs, japanese beetles, locusts, ect. What good are they??

    Then there was the species that was brought onto the ark in the K9 family. It would cry everytime Noah fed it cantelope. It was called a meloncolly.

    Many modern day Baptists can trace their heritage back to the flood, and should be thankful Noah preserved the ostritch and anteater. That is where they learned to stick their head in the sand and stick their nose into other people's business.

    I'd just as soon sleep with a rattlesnake with a sore tooth, than a spider any time. Spiders and I can not, and WILL NOT co-habitate, period!!

    The only kind I can tolerate are the black furry ones. I don't know what they're called, but they eat lot's of insects, especially flies. Around here we have a lot of wolf spiders and they are huuuuuuuuuuuge!!!!! They look like they could star in a horror movie! YUCK!!!!!

    We also have a lot of the giant hornets, which get a bad rap because they're so gigantic, but they are very gentle and don't attack and they actually eat wasps. I've seen them catch wasps in flight. Pretty cool. So I don't ever kill them.
