    Had a counselor tell me once that I did not know how to relax.

    He fell asleep in the bath tub one day, and drowned.

    This story isn't true. But wouldn't it have been ironic if it were?

    Relax???????? What do I do? .... Work during the day .... teach dog obedience at night .... I must do something .... oh yea!!

    Eat cookies .... love to eat cookies. Read my Bible .... always relaxes me.

    Talk to da Gina ... in person ... while eating cookies! (Chocolate of course) ... We can sit and gab for ever. It is so nice to have a friend like her! We talk about the Bible, this board, MEN ... (yikes ... yes I said that), winter coming, you name it!

    Dr. Bob ,,,, your relaxation sounds wonderful!!!!! I think I will have to try it!

    It is nice to have a Christian friend to relax and unwind with and talk to. Thanks for being there FHN!

    Bubble Baths-For hours on end. I play soft music in the c-d player and I drink iced tea. By the time I return to the land of the living, I'm so relaxed, I'm ready to go to sleep.

    If I want to relax I just get out my Bible and start reading. It is usally not long before I am so comforted by God's word that I just start drifting off. Not so much when I'm study, just when I'm reading just to be reading. [​IMG]

    I love to read to relax as well.. I also like to just close my eyes... then I usually have a 4 year old going .. "mom, mom.. I need milk.. "...

    Anything that directly connects my sensory-motor system together without much use of the mind. Right now it's sculpture.

    When I need to release stress, I listen to music really loud, with headphones, in the dark.
