If you use the Netscape browser then you can hold down CONTROL and tap "+" (the plus sign) with each time making the words bigger and bigger. There are also a few very good programs that offer "one click" enlarging. Do a search for "Dragnifier", it's free. I use it all the time.

My keyboard has too many options. F11 saves the webpage.

A bigger monitor doesn't translate to bigger type -- you can just fit more tiny things onto your screen.

As I get older I find that the longer my arms, are the better my sight is ..... I need to hold things further away to read them.

I think you are talking about the "age-related" condition that people over 40 gets which is common. Called...**looking up the name on the web**.....oh, here it is.....it's called "presbyopia". [IMG]

I already knew about the Alt-middle mouse contrl to make text bigger and smaller....but I agree, that was a very handy thing to have! [IMG] I wish it would work on Microsoft Access with "forms" to fill out addresses in (they are white blocks), but it doesn't.

I have been putting together a cook book and just found out that by pressing Alt and hitting 167 on your number pad it will make the little degree symbal ( 350º). Many of you may already know that but I'm still learning.

Thanks. I use a Mac, and the Netscape trick works with "Command - +".
