    Now that so many "Bible believers" have left, or have been run off from the BB, I wonder how many of us are left?

    I'm a "Bible believer", but I left the KJVO movement a few years ago.

    I'm a Bible believer. I just don't believe the KJVO theory about the Bible.

    I am a "Bible believer". I just don't believe in the false doctrine of KJVOism. I continue to be amazed at even when a new topic is started by a KJVO, whether a question, poll, or statement there is always a back door slam to those who don't agree with them.

    I HOPE there are quite a few, lurkers and active posters. This is far too serious an issue to just ignore. After all, KJVO is an incorrect belief about the most important literature of all.

    I'm a Bible believer, have been since being saved in 1967. I have nothing against those who use the KJV, I started with it myself and often quote from it. With caution, I researched other translations and about 17 years ago switched from NIV to NASB (and again to NASB 1995).

    It didn't surprise me that old timers who knew nothing else but KJV refused to consider another translation (I mean those born prior to the Great Depression). But I've been shocked at those younger generations who all but worship a translation; placing it on par with the original manuscripts and considering all who don't buy their POV as inferior, liberal, or heretical.

    I see why have several "bibles believers" lyingly trying to claim to be a Bible believer. I am amazed that these people have the total inability to do simple math.

    I wonder if this will ever not amaze me?

    I am defininitely a Bible believer. That's why I am not dogmatic about anything that's not laid out for us in the text of the scriptures.

    I am a Bible believer, and I can honestly say that I love the word of God. Anything that would or has corrupted it, should be rejected, and an obligation to warn others of them out of love for the Holiness of and the blessed truth contained and revealed within the scriptures. It amazes me how anyone can say they love the scriptures, and then not warn anyone, nor be upset when they have been shown the obvious alterations that have been done to them and what the end result of these alterations can do. This is compromise to me, not love. It amazes me, that so many people today, think the scriptures have alterations in them, and that this is perfectly justifiable. No one today believes they have a final authority on the face of this earth, and this is what they all would like us and demand us to believe. I believe God has the power to provide his faithful people his pure words, just as He promised. After all, the scriptures are the perfect written words of God, that reveal our perfect Risen Lord Jesus Christ who is God. I do not understand how many do not think that God has power to preserve his words in our language. If he can raise us from the dead, why can He not also give us His perfect words? I love the words of the Lord, because I not only learn of Him through them, but He helps keep me safe from deceptions and wickedness/evil of the world, and keeps me also in His will.

    love in Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour,
    michelle

    My Bible IS the only Word of God and it's perfect & my immediate family of 20 uses the same one...come to think of it, all my kin that I know of uses it & always have. :D

    OKJV=only King Jesus version
    KJVO=nothing but the Holy Bible

    As a Bible believer, I can believe the four differing accounts of the same events as presented in the "Four Gospels" & in samuel, Kings, & Chronicles. However, certain people have a prob with different versions made from different sources while accepting different versions of the narration of the SAME EVENTS within one given version.

    As I said earlier, I hope there are plenty of KJVOs here, and that God lead them from their false doctrine as He's done with some here already. That's why we keep posting evidence against the KJVO myth & reminding its advocates that they have NO evidence supporting the KJVO myth.

    Yet to be done by anyone here on this board. You have yet to substantiate with facts this claim. You don't even have any idea what the original text say to make a definitive statement on the matter.

    Now there is finally a statement I can agree with, even though I know your reference is to a particular version and not the original words.

    Granny that is what OKJV means that's fine if that is your choice. But, I would make a correction on your second part---

    KJV (all 4 of them)=nothing but the Holy Bible
    NKJV=nothing but the Holy Bible
    NIV=nothing but the Holy Bible
    Geneva=nothing but the Holy Bible
    NASB=nothing but the Holy Bible
    Holman=nothing but the Holy Bible
    RSV=Nothing but the Holy Bible
    And there are other reliable versions that are nothing but the Holy Bible.

    It's one thing to have faith in a translation but quite another to have faith in the one who gave the scripture and created the heavens and the earth. My faith is in God.
