I happen to be a KJV Bible READER and all of this has sparked the obvious question:

How many manuscript variants are there?

What is the history behind each of them?

Has any one man studied them ALL without prejudjing and drawn any conclusions?

Do ANY of them take away the essential theme of salvation by Grace through Faith in the 100% finished Work of the Lord Jesus Christ at Calvary?

About 10,000, most of which are minor.
    Varied.
The only persons to have actually collated all the Greek manuscript evidence were Herman Hoskier and H. C. von Soden. Of course, they could not agree, and Hoskier said of von Soden's work, "I regret to have to condemn it strongly... the apparatus is positively honeycombed with errors." So, not much has changed in this discussion for a couple hundred years! :D
No. No major doctrine is omitted in its whole from any manuscript.
