I think Barnabas and Lenke may have him beat or is very close with 38 years on June 10th.
Dr. Bob and Dan Todd haven't posted their over 30 numbers (TO THEIR WIVES, GIB, not each other!) and Granny Gumbo hasn't replied either.

We've been married for more than 31 years now, after a "long" engagement of 59 days. (My dad thought for sure we "had" to get married. Ptoved him wrong! No kids -- ever!)

BTW, we only courted 3 weeks...he swept me off my feet-so handsome in his uniform. I came down from Alaska March 15, met him April 10, got married May 6 and have always tried to remember to put Jesus first in all things. Together we've raised 6 beautiful children, who are serving the Lord.

I've never been married, but I know two couples who are married for a long time. [IMG]

My brother and his wife are married since 1991! [IMG] They are still married today.

My parents have been married since 1962 and still married today. [IMG]

I've had a boyfriend, but I've never been married, never had a fiance either!

There are other women like us out there....you aren't the only one. [IMG]

I think you may be the winner, Granny, unless Jim1999 fesses up. [IMG]

My Jim and I knew each other 2 weeks when we 'got engaged' but my mother had a fit and we didn't get married for almost 6 months.

Today is the day we met, 35 years ago. Thank You Jesus!

It just keeps getting better and better, don't it Diane? Even with all the heartaches, ups and downs, fusses, etc, we're more in love today than ever. I can't imagine life without my mister and hope I never have to find out. There'll never be another for me.

I pray for him daily as he pulls that ol'heavy hose on the butane truck and travels over 200 miles delivering gas for folks...I thank the Lord he has a job at his age, tho' he's slowed down a bit. God has been so good to us, hasn't He? [IMG]

I agree Granny! God truly blessed us and I thank Him every day for my precious husband. I also will never, ever have another and dread a day without him.

One time long ago, I said, "I never, ever will". [IMG] Sure glad God changed my mind and I have been "Thankful" ever since.

    35 years on June 19th.

We were just reflecting while watching a show on TV about riding the bus that it was at a bus stop in Minneapolis where she had been shopping in one store and I stopped at the jeweler and paid the final lay-away payment (unknown to her) and got the diamond.

We were at the bus stop and I asked if I could ask her a question. She agreed and so I dropped to one knee and asked her to marry me!! She agreed and I gave her the ring. Bus came along and we got on all happy and excited . . and there was my mother on the same bus!
