Here Jesus is talking about feeding the poor, clothing them, giving them medical help and visiting those in prison. I think you would call these things part of the "social gospel" wouldn't you? Doing these things does not save you but all those who are saved exhibit this kind of behavior.

 

Taking a large class of people together and assigning the same beliefs and actions to all of them, as you and most of the CONs here do, is inherently discrimination.

Jesus said that we are to love our neighbors even those who are our enemies. Anything that can be interpreted as doing this is in obedience to His command. All the rest of this is in the details.

Alatide, you are plain dumb. As I wrote in another post, my very best friend for years was black. He was not a house guest, he was my FRIEND. He came over to my house, I went over to his. His family knew my family. We were friends. It had nothing to do with color.

But you know what? We used to joke each other about race all the time. Once we were driving and I was going a little too fast. My friend Leroy said I should slow down or we might get pulled over by the cops. I said, "I'm not worried, it's not me they are going to pull out of the car and beat!"

Now you, being a liberal could never get that. We were friends. We could and did joke about things like that all the time. We loved each other with a brotherly love. We weren't hanging out with each other to prove to others we weren't bigots.

I promise you I have spent more time with black people than you. My sister-in-law is half black. But unlike you, that is no big deal in my family. We all love each other for who we are, not color.

You just don't get it. By asking stupid questions like this you are showing that inside you are prejudice and bigoted. You are also self-righteous.

You know the sad thing? I think there are a couple of people on this board that would be sad to know I'm not racist. They really wish I was, because it helps them be more puffed up.
