How old do you have to be to post on BB?

    My daughter who will soon be 14 wants her own name and wants to start posting here on the BB. How old does she have to be? Is there an age limit?

    She has posted a couple of times here in the youth forum using my name and letting people know that it is her not me, but she would really like her own screen name. Can someone give me some information?

    Just went and did some more searching and checked under the Privacy Statement. Looks like I found my answer.


    Guess she will have to wait. It gives her something else to look forward to on her Birthday!

    I think the 13 is inclusive ;) As far as I know, by law anyone 13 or older is fine. Otherwise you would have to sign a COPPA form and fax it to the webmaster.

    Well when i joined, I was going to be fourteen in just a few hours. {joined on my birthday.} I think so far I'm the youngest. {Hopefully not the brattiest!} Thirteen or older? Dosn't that include the age thirteen? I'm not sure. I hope she can join.

    I started posting on message boards in 7th grade... I wasn't 13 LOL
