    fromtheright and CMG,

    I stated that it is unprincipled for someone to defend Bush for the same thing for which they would criticize Clinton or Gore or Kerry. It does happen, and I don't think it's unfair to point it out. I also think it is un-Christian to attempt to gloss over or cover up or excuse the faults of any candidate. OTOH I do sometimes make stronger statements than I should and Gina's comment is a good thing for all of us to remember, I think.

    It is clear that the three of you are all CP so it is no surprise that you jump to each other's defense. The CP makes very false statements and then insists upon them at all costs. That is not debate but high-pressure tactics.
