I am someone who has lived in Michigan, and the State always went back and forth between Republican and Dem Govs, and the Senators have been pretty much Dems, due to the fact that the liberal base in metro Detroit is very strong for dem party in state. Biggest news though was that an unknown first time Black republican, actually put a real scare into female dem senator who has been in office eover 20 years, and won by by only 5%, mainly due to Detroit again!

 

The Republicans lost about 1/2 the seats Clinton and Obama did in their midterms, and many of the republicans losses due to newcomers, as was massive retirement in ranks!
Trump first since Jfk to have Senators added, and grew Governor ships also!

The original estimates were that the losses were not so severe. I think that it means that Trump will be impeached in January. Some are saying that Fox called the race before the polls closed the way CBS and others did in 2000. You can see the changes in Fox already as it goes to the middle and away from the conservatives. Others are saying that California and Texas let illegals vote by the tens of thousands, which is the presumed Democrat path to victory.

Here in Indiana, you have to have ID. It is put into a reader and then you sign your name as you do at a store when you buy something with a credit card, for example. The precinct worker matches your electronic signature with your ID signature and then writes your township and precinct to another precinct worker to set up your ballot on the computer. You then vote--you are given two or three minutes.

I think that the suburbs are going blue because Trump is not blue blood enough for some of the wealthy. His mother was a maid from a foreign country. Upper class people do not care what the government destroys as long as they are not bothered for anything more than a couple of dollars in taxes so they buy into some of the socialist schemes of people such as Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

But you are correct, Jerome, the losses were grievous for whatever reason and Trump will be impeached by Maxine Waters and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

The people who crossed over to vote Trump did so because of the economy. Once they feel good about their state of being, they revert to complacency. They forget how bad it sucked under the last dem, & mindlessly listen to the latest campaign ads.

Many of us oldsters will die even before 2020. We are the ones who grew up in the American dream that we fought for where kids went out to play, all day, & parents didn’t have to worry unless the kid was late for dinner. Our votes will be gone soon enough.

The youngsters who will go to the ballot box will have been educated in social justice ways by everything around them. The education system, the msm, hollywood, musicians all beat the drum to follow the way.

Just like it’s always been, they will think their parents are the most uncool people ever, so that won’t help.

I can remember being completely illiterate about what I was voting for. I was comfortably numb for many years following Viet Nam. That was when you treated yourself for PTSD or you busted up the place. No support or feel good ads on tv about your service in those days. I still always loved this country.

It will be the greatest loss to the world when we fall to socialism, but the world, having already relinquished itself to the powers that be, will cheer.

It’s the most heart wrenching thing to watch it happen. What can I do but pray, & thank the Lord for giving me this good life in this time, & I do.

 

People vote a certain way and politicians claim they know why. What this or any other votes says is that more showed up to vote for one candidate than the other. Nothing more, nothing less. People who win have a mandate simply because they won and not because there is some magical political ball that tells them what people think. Different people vote for different candidates for different reasons.

With the liberal Dems and their socialist branch, all things are political. They have worked themselves into a frenzy since Obama and they want revenge for their defeats. They have nothing against Trump legally and legally there is a lot against Obama and the Clintons. The Democrats are also a rule or ruin party. If they can't be the boss, then your life will be made miserable, and if you do make them boss, your life will be made miserable. As Hillary admitted, she will not be civil until she wins, but when was she ever civil to anyone ever? She is lying. They will pass impeachment in the House, and the Senate will refuse to have a trial or pay any attention to it. Look at how petty the Dem trolls are on the BB.

 

They can try to impeach in the House, but the republicans still control Senate, and so he cannot be forced out!
And that will bite them in the behind, as the Conservatives will get really riled up, and assure trump a second term!

 

Last I heard was 30 seats lost in House, and we did gain some key Governor seats, and they said since Jfk, no president side had an increase of more than 2 senators, and think They got 3 more this time!

Trump can be impeached but I feel deep down and I could be wrong but I really think Trump will be reelected in 2020. I have always believed that God had a major hand in Donald Trump winning over Clinton. Christians came together for once and prayed for a president that would bring God back to this country. So Clinton lost when everything was in her favor to win. Had she won, we more than likely would be in WW3 by now. We as Christians need to keep praying for our president rather or not we like how he is running things. We need to stay in prayer continually for our country to bring God back and to stop the abortions, and the same sex marriages. All this is a slap in God's face. He hates what has been happening not just in our country but all over the world. Prayer was removed from our public schools and now look at what is happening with our children. The 10 commandments are and have been removed from all public places. What is right is wrong and what is wrong is right. (pollical correctness),
Where I live they do gerrymandering so the Dems can win. VA is almost all Democratic now. Because of the gerrymandering, politicians can pick their voters. We are now in the process of trying to stop this.
Everyone please pray for the changes that God would want. He wants us to come to him to fix things and make them right. So please pray and pray hard for our president and our country as well as our military and government that they will do what is right in God's eyes.

The Dems have to impeach Trump because they essentially won the House with forty new seats on the platform of impeachment of Trump.
