How was Easter?

    Good. I believe it was the second Sunday our new pastor was here. I like him.

    My church didn't do as much as they normally do, but I think they've been pretty busy lately. We had sent a mission team to Haiti just the week before.

    Good services, lots of visitors. The traditional Easter hymns sure do get the folks singing louder it seems than usual.

    We had a good sunrise service and church breakfast. Then our normal service was quite nice. Attendance was up slightly, with some people showing up who don't often come to church.

    Packed house. Bonus! Seven people--all adults--got baptized. "Christ the Lord is Risen Today" sung a capella was quite moving. Text of sermon was on 1 Cor. 15:12-20.
